The Aoki match wasn't a fight. And who??????? are the TOP HW fighters. Brock Lesner???? at 4-1. Every fighter loses, Fedor hasn't. Matt Sera KO'd GSP, is Serra top competition???

I could care less about Fedor fighting in the UFC or Strike Force, the problem is the HW prospects out there aren't to appealing. People should be more concerned about the great divisions we do have instead of putting Fedor down for wiping out the HW's and now having no one to fight. Barnett was his last test. And I'm now curious of where Barnett goes, he'll walk thru the UFC HW's, but maybe he goes to Strikeforce to fight Fedor, the only HW fight I'm interested in seeing.

Well he went to Strike Force. He was supposed to fight the top HW #2 in Barnett but we know that story. He was still going to fight on the affliction card, he said he would fight anybody, but Showtime closed the doors.

I love how Brock at 4-1 is a great HW. Strikeforce will give Fedor competition. Saying he punked out is another ignorant statement. Fedor will fight anybody. And I'm sure he'll lose one day to, they all do.

Stirkeforce has Overeem, Werdum, Rodgers and I imagine Monson could fight there. The UFC isn't much better with, Brock, Mir, Crocop & Couture.

UFC has Brock, Mir, Cro Cop, Couture, Carwin, and Nogueira. I'd say UFC's HW division has much more talent and depth then Strikeforce....thus why Fedor went there.

the article I read, and who knows if its legit, said that the guy or his manager wanted something ridiculous. not sure if the reporter meant 1/2 proceeds in his fights or 1/2 ownership of UFC just to sign him. I read it as M1 wanted half of UFC ownership... which OBVIOUSLY UFC is forced to laugh at his face and turn it down otherwise they become a laughingstock themselves.

I think M-1 wanted a % of the revenue profits on top of Fedors pay. I wouldn't do that deal either if I was the UFC.

Again did Fedor he sign to fight the #2 top HW in the world? Wasn't he supposed to fight Couture a year ago, but the UFC went to court over the fight. I wonder if Couture will go to strike force after his contract is up to fight Fedor. And Strikeforce is a legit MMA organization with top prospects. Have Nick Diaz fight GSP.

And its so stupid on how you could blame Fedor for Pride, Bodog and Affliction for going under, do you know the real reason why PRIDE went under??? Its a good story and the reason why the UFC who bought PRIDE cant get nothing going in Japan.

Perfect analogy. And the biggest joke of all is, I guarantee the Strikeforce deal was nowhere near what the UFC deal was. And I highly doubt Strikeforce gave up 50% of their company like M-1 Global wanted the UFC to do. Bottomline: Fedor didn't want to fight in the UFC so him and his management made unrealistic requests to sabotage any chance of a deal being made.

FACTS: The UFC currently has the most Top Ten HW fighters or any MMA org. The UFC has the most legit HW title in MMA right now. The UFC has a 280 lbs. vanilla gorilla named Brock Lesnar that despite his size, is agile and fast. Two things Fedor has already admitted is harder to go up against.

"To be honest, in terms of his (Belfort) speed at that weight, I honestly don't know if being heavier is an advantage with a fighter who is as fast as him at his current weight,” Fedor said. “I have always found it harder to fight the lighter, faster guys, rather than the really big, plodding heavy and super heavyweights.
