Ahhh.. just found an article about it.



Basically. Why didn't Penn mention Florian's name during the whole NSAC hearing for Penn's greasing accusations against GSP!? Penn supposedly knew it was Florian BEFORE the actual fight with GSP. So why exclude that important piece of info until much later!? Makes no sense if it were true. It's just more BS from a guy who should focus more on training so he doesn't gas as opposed to playing head games with guys focused on training so THEY don't gas. You know?

The only conference call on there is the Friday one with Dana though (talks about Fedor deal fall out, Tito and Vitor etc). Can't find the one from Tuesday. Are you sure there was a video/audio of it?

yes i heard the audio and read it as well. it was sometime early this week or late last week i think. I dont know why I cant find it on the site i frequent now. (either cagepotato or fanhouse).

This is one link that I found, but there was another that had the actual transcript of the conference call. it is where one caller asked BJ penn if he was gay or something like that. The transcript featured questions to each fighter and they would answer them. I don't know why I cant find the link to the transcript anymore, it was posted just prior to this link below but it is not there anymore. There was even a youtube video of the audio but I cant find that either...

He never mentioned Kenny Florian once at any of the NSAC hearings or before. And when commission officials were notified at UFC 94 before the GSP fight by Penn's camp it was based off of information provided by David Weintraub. No mention of what information or a text and again, Florians name was never mentioned.

Oh well, I dont know man...It's just odd to me how this whole case or whatever you want to call it is so undecided. I mean, you would think that with something like this, it would be clear cut whether or not the guy was guilty or innocent. but then you have stuff like this text thing and the other fighters who have publicly stated that they were suspicious of GSP or Jackson's camp in general, etc. But then you have NSAC who clears them of all accusations.

Granted, if GSP did grease, it definitely didnt win him the fight. That is why it is a head scratcher if he actually did do it when he didnt even need to.

I think part if it too is that some things are definitely being taken out of context. Such as, we dont really know why Florian was texting or talking with Weintraub while Weintraub was visiting with BJ and his camp. Why doesnt Florian just come out and say what it was all about, that would surely clear things up for him wouldnt it? Instead, he just says that he texted Weintraub about Huerta and nothing more. No precursor or post-text addition. And if Weintraub and Penn are both lying, i dont see why Weintraub would lie about something like this that could damage Florian's public image.

Is he a great fighter? Yes, he's awesome and in the top 10 p4p.

But the UFC 94 trash talk with him telling GSP to go home after training, lay down, and ^^^^ himself. That's not getting into someone's head that just being a ^^^^. If you wanna get into someone's head there are plenty ways to do it but telling a person to ^^^^ themselves is uncalled for. BJ thought he was the ^^^^ and GSP brought him to his senses.

GSP loses to Serra and says "I did everything I could."

BJ loses to St. Pierre and says "he greased."

Don't even get me started on the giving up that Penn said even though he gave up, damn that dude pisses me off.

BJ reminds me of mine High School friends, not really a fighter. Just half the stuff he says isn't funny yet you ask yourself, "Is he serious?" and "Did he really just say that." I want to like Penn just because he's an American who can beat a lot of Brazilian guys in BJJ, but his attitude is like he's full of himself more than the normal fighter.

I honestly think youre being ignorant to the facts and also a bit biased that you just dislike Penn.

Penn saying that GSP greased goes much further than him just 'saying so'. other people have agreed or claimed foul along side of Penn, and there are various sprinkles of semi-evidence that is strewn about. If it was just Penn talking ^^^^ and making excuses about GSP greasing, it would be a one sided ordeal.

You must not be a boxing fan, because 99% of boxers have the same attitude or persona that BJ has pre-fight. Imo people need someone to dislike and it's just 'easy' to dislike Penn because of his trash talks. Yet you look at tito and liddell's trash talks and no one even says a word about that. You could look at 90% of MMA or boxing fights and they would all have the same or worse trash talking amongst fighters.

Even your boy Koscheck talks his share of ^^^^ before fights. It's about hype and about mind games. doesnt mean they are bad human beings. I swear people take this ^^^^ wayyyyy too seriously. It's like you watch The Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie and just because some voice on the screen says "based on a true story", youre going to believe that whatever happened in the movie is true. lol

Personally, ive never disliked a fighter because of what they said or because of their trash talk. Im smart enough to know that it is part of the territory, and the general public WANTS to see two guys who HATE each other fight. No one wants to see two best friends who love each other go toe to toe. People always want that extra something, that rivalry, that fire, that personal agenda, etc. If you over look this fact of the sport and marketing of fighting then you must not really know what you are watching.

How could you say I don't like boxing? That is actually an ignorant statement. As for Tito and Chuck I never said I liked them or enjoyed their trash talking. I actually dislike Tito but he was known as the bad boy of the UFC. But thanks for bringing that up I guess....

Koscheck's trash talking and Penn's trash was different. Saying "you suck" and "I'm going to win" is different then saying "I'm God" and go "Go ^^^^ yourself."

I feel sorry for Bisping if he fights Wandy or Cote. Wandy might be doing bad but he still has the KO power and Cote might be coming off of a injury but his ching and KO power will probably be the same or better.

All the trash talk is just part of the gimmicks. Remember when GSP came in the ring and was mocking Matt Hughes "I was not impressed by your performance".....him just saying that made me laugh my ass off. It's all so staged and funny, can't believe anybody actually takes it seriously.

I'm not taking it seriously, I know GSP isn't really going to go home a kill himself if someone tells him too. I just don't like Pemm after what I heard him say, even if it is completely staged or not, I just don't like him. Trash talking adds way more excitement to a fight, but trash talking can only go so far. Like in the Bisping vs Hendo fight, Bisping really thought he was going to win and since Hendo KO him it made that fight a classis for me even though it just happened.
