In other News Nick Diaz signed a boxing contract. The Diaz brothers are crazy. To bad Nick won't stop smoking pot and concentrate on fighting in MMA.

Is the Babalu v Mousasi fight still on??? Not a bad card. Have to see how it turns out. The Melendez/Ishida rematch should be good.

His chin would be my biggest question. But he's a real smart fighter and he knows how to aviod getting hit. But then size would be the other factor. Silva's a big MW.

that's the fight i'd want to see most of all. GSP and Silva. GSP will probably be Silvas only real challenge in that division. GSP has proven he can beat the best of them, he's real loses come at the hands of being careless, which he came back and showed what he could really do.

Catchweight fight- Fedor vs Carano is in motion right now. I see Fedor winning this by judges 29-28. Carano needs to use her speed if she wants to win, should be a pretty good fight.

Strikeforce has to test Fedor somehow!!!

GSP would get out classed and out muscled by Silva who is huge compared to him.

Speaking of which, there's a rumor going around that Strikeforce is trying to set up a fight between Fedor and F'n Ricco Rodriguez. :duh:duh:duh

If this turns out to be Fedor's first fight in Strikeforce it'll be beyond pathetic.

Ricco, the last time I saw him he looked about 300 pounds, but I guess thats the perfect matchup for Fedor, another has been...:lol

Yea. I heard that, if anyone can say that Strikeforce has the same competition as the UFC does then they are complete morons.

i'm picking up showtime to catch this on saturday. i figure it's worth $12 to see this and get a month's worth of showtime.

Cheapest option would be just to wait a couple hours and catch the fights online for free. It's also possible that some sites like UStream will have feeds of the live event. So there's other options for people who don't want to get Showtime.

Devil's right, cheapest way is free. Still I like to sit down and watch it in HD on my T.V. it's worth the 12 bucks.

I actually did the same thing a few months ago, cant beat it. Screw the free crap streamed on some site in horrible quality.

But I'am getting UFC 1-101. That I cant pass up. If anybody's interested let me know. And Yes I will watch them all.

Phil Baroni is headed back to the UFC. A lot of weird additions lately. Baroni is a gate keeper at best. Dude has so much potential but he has zero cardio. It's hard to watch him fight and get gassed like a minute in. :lol

UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn is enjoying life at home after his convincing fourth-round victory Saturday over challenger Kenny Florian in Philadelphia.

It won't be a long vacation though for Penn (14-5-1), the only mixed martial artist to successfully defend the UFC's 155-pound title twice. Penn said he will talk with UFC President Dana White this week about his next defense, against Diego "Nightmare" Sanchez.

"It's gonna happen, hopefully within the next two, two-and-a-half months," Penn said Wednesday.

"I'm 30 now and I'm hoping to get a couple of more fights in. I know they say that in MMA, people peak later, but who knows? My whole career, fighting from age 20 to 30, I've gotten into real good shape and gotten out of shape and started getting back into shape again. I don't want to do that anymore.

"Here I am. I'm in shape. I want to have fun for a couple of days, take some time off, eat some good food, and then I want to get right back into all that stuff."
I love it!!
