The Football player is a big dude, if he had some good training he might be good. Be he lacks in every department. He had full mount and looked puzzled. You gotta be aggressive and have a killer instinct to be a good fighter. He just never committed for the kill, but I dont think he knows how.

I'm not giving up on this season. Chances are the fight will happen. It took Hughes and Serra a couple years but it happened. The hype won't be as high as it is now but the chances are it's happening and if anybody misses the next episode then they aren't a mma fan. Love him are hate him people want to see what happens to Kimbo.

Exactly, no experience. There's no excuse for him not finishing that fight from full mount other than he just didn't know how to.

He just about looked like he was afraid to start dropping elbows or hammer fists; like he didn't WANT to hurt the other fighter?!

I think he was just too exhausted to do anything. :lol

He mentioned the altitude change and not being able to properly train (even though it was Episode 2 that fight took place the same day as the last fight) and Brendan Schaub (who's on Team Rashad) said he thought Rampage over trained both Abe and Shivers. That's why both guys looked completely wasted after a few minutes in. So who knows. According to Roy Nelson after the fight Shivers couldn't walk for 4 days because his leg was hurt so bad from McSweeney leg kicks.

so are there any realistic big fights to look forward too now? :(

those are good fights, but i wouldnt say those are big fights. i want a fantasy match up. Somethin like Fedor vs Brock or Silva vs Machida, or GSP vs Silva............GSP hasnt had a fight in hella days, whats up with that?

Hendo or Marquardt haven't completely earned a title shot IMO. Hendo ecspecially. I like the dude but he has like 3 wins and one was in LHW and the other was against a unranked Rousamar Pahlhares who is good on the ground but that's about it. If anyone should get the shot it's Yushin Oakami, then Nate, then Hendo. Vitor definetely looks promising to give Silva a run for his money. Hendo vs Nate is a good matchup IMO.

The only UFC event I might order is the Machida v Shogun, but the undercard is weak. It seems like alot of the upcoming UFC events have weak undercards, or fights I dont wanna pay $50 for. The Lesner card has Tito returning vs Colemam, I might get that one. But i'm just not too thrilled about about any of the cards for $50, if they were free it would be awesome, and the ability to downlowd the fights the next day makes it hard to pull the trigger on these upcoming PPV's.

I can understand where your coming from but the way I look at it is this: I really like UFC events, I only live once, we split it among like 5 different people, and I don't blow my money away on every little thing I see so even if I did have to spend the full 50 bucks it's alright.

Everybody is different though.

Thats the way I see it to, and if I cant round up enough buddies, hit the local bar have a beer and some wings and watch the fights for 20$

wish I knew 5 people that watched UFC :monkey2

I actually hate having people over for events, it becomes a party and no one shuts up. I'm stoked for the machida/shougun fight just wish the under-card was alittle better. Then if Anderson v Vitor is on, that could be good. All the others are so-so to me. And the ability to download is tough to pass.

But I would say until a year ago I purchased every UFC event. But now with 1 or 2 a month a dont want a $300 satellite bill every month. But also my desire to purchase has dwindled. With so many events I imagine it leads to some events weaker then others.

I guess I got lucky because the people I watch it with like the UFC a lot. It's the women they bring that is a downside. Other than that I really enjoy it for a good price, at my own home, own food, and around people I know.
