Wow, that's a shame, having to do something at work that you don't want to. Grow the ^^^^ up Rampage.

As far as kissing your big black hairy ass, how about we boycott your movie instead? Good luck in "acting". :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

White responds, from mmaweekly

UFC president Dana White says he will honor Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s decision to pursue acting full-time, though it’s hard to imagine he will do so without a fight.

Jackson on Tuesday afternoon wrote on his personal blog that he was fed up with the promotion’s politics and would mark his turn as "B.A. Baracus" on the movie remake of “The A-Team” as the start of a new career on the silver screen.

White, who made a surprise appearance on the KHTK's Carmichael Dave show Tuesday evening, had clearly not spoken to the former UFC light heavyweight champ yet, but said Jackson’s decision was not something new to him.

Dealing with its consequences, as White has often said, was his job.

“I have nothing bad to say about Rampage,” said White. “He’s a grown man. This guy decides he wants to walk away from guaranteed good money right now, money he’ll never have the opportunity to make for the rest of his life, because he wants to go make movies, he’s a grown man. He can do whatever he wants to do.”

In his blog entry, Jackson said White attempted to sabotage his acting career by disclosing financial information about the particulars of his "A-Team" deal.

“What happened was, after he and I had made up, those stories were hitting,” said White. “I didn’t say anything bad about him doing the movie, other than I thought it was a bad idea, because I do think it’s a bad idea.”

White also disputed Jackson's recollection that he "changed his mind" on giving Jackson a title shot against current champion Lyoto Machida, forcing him to instead fight former champion and rival "Ultimate Fighter" coach Rashad Evans in December.

"He didn't want the belt," said White. "He said the belt caused too many problems in his life, he just wants to fight and make money and feed his family is exactly what he told me."

The UFC president made no mention of meeting with Jackson to work the situation out, but hinted the situation might be temporary. Still, his position on retirement was firm.

“He’s acting like a baby right now, but he’s a grown man,” he said. “If he wants to be in the movie business, Rampage, good luck to ya, man. I hope he makes it big, and I’m not being sarcastic.

“Rampage Jackson is a guy that I actually do like, and Rampage Jackson is a guy that I know doesn’t always make the best decisions, and I hope the movie thing works out for him. If that what he thinks his career is, I wish him all the luck in the world.”

Jackson has yet to further comment on his decision.

Rumor has it..

Kimbo gets KTFO in the 2nd Round

Not sure how true it is but that's the word. We'll see. Regardless of what happens on the show Kimbo will be fighting in the UFC. And I don't mean just the finale show. I mean he'll have a few fights. Unless he proves to not be a draw anymore.. then he'll be immediately cut and released as damaged goods.

Such a boring fight last night, both fighters gassed ..... lame.

Agreed. But there's no way it was 20 - 18. And even though I highly doubt either of those guys could've went another round, I had it 19 - 19 (Like one of the judges) with the 1st round going to Shivers and the 2nd to McSweeney. I have no clue how anyone could've gave the 1st round to McSweeney. He flat out ran from Shivers, turned his back and ran. Shivers got a take down and sub attempt (poor sub attempt but still a sub attempt :lol) and landed the better shots.

Also for everyone who thought that this season had no "fight to get in the house" element because of the UFC protecting Kimbo: Just from the first 2 fights/4 fighters I think it's obvious trying to find 32 "real" HW's (which would be needed to have an elimination round) would've been next to impossible. The UFC wanted "real" HW fighters for this season. Not blown up LHW's who would drop from the division once in the UFC (Like Rashad Evans). So finding 16 dudes 250 lbs + that could actually fight was obviously HARD. And finding 16 more would've been a disaster. :lol

yeah i defn had Wes winning the 1st round too, that was a bogus decision, should have gone to a 3rd even though it would have been a boring 3rd. Its obvious though that these big dudes all gas out hella quick, thats why Rampage's team will prolly lose every fight, just based on cardio

What a crap season, if the rumours are true which they have to be since Kimbo v Nelson was posted awhile ago, Im done with this season. With the Rashad v Evans fight off, and the Kimbo results out, why even bother. The first 2 fights stunk. And Roy Nelson shouldn't even be on the show.

Its hard to believe what you read on the internet, but the rumours are going both ways on who wins, supposedly Wes Simms text-ed someone about the outcome. He said Kimbo won. But then you got people betting their lives Kimbo gets KO'd. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I actual dont believe these rumours but I know Kimbo cant make it to the finals, no way. I would love to see him do it, but it just seems the odds are against him.

The rumors have been wrong before. For the Serra vs Hughes season it was rumored for several weeks previous to the finale that George Sotoropoulis(however you spell his last name) was in the final vs Mac Danzig. I hope they're wrong again, despite thinking that Roy is going to take care of the competition.

Anything is possible especially with injuries, etc. I thought CB Dollaway was out. Then JT gets the boot and 1 fight later CB is back in and IN the final. Kimbo could very well lose vs. Roy. Then with injuries slide into the semi's or even the final. It's possible.

None of these clowns should be on this season, Ive seen better fighters at my local gym

Absolutely, 19-19 if anything but I'm still not convinced that McSweeney did enough to take the second round. If anything it should have been 20-18 Shivers.

The first round was pretty entertaining for a couple of amateurs, but this was Rashad's top pick - I expected much much more from him. What was with those crazy jumping kicks? He had decent leg kicks but that's about it.

Shivers looked better than I thought an ex football player would. He seems to have some power in his punch, and tried to submit McSweeney. He just obviously lacks experience.

Hopefully this season picks up a little, I'm shocked we're seeing Kimbo VS Slice this early. Knowing that Rashad and Rampage aren't going to fight makes the whole thing terribly anti-climactic though.
