Couture is only back to fulfill his contract dispute with Dana. As for his fight with Lesner , I would never count Randy out of any fight.(accept one, see below) After his dismantling of Tim Silvia and Gabriel Gonzaga, I think Lesner really better watch himself in the Octagon as technique always wins over strength on the ground. And yes it will go to the ground. Mike

It seems to me that fighters have found away of beating Liddell, it no coincidence that Jardine was part of Evans team

He needs to add more to his game if he wants to survive, as you get older your reaction time gets slower and whilst no one may hit as hard as Liddell, there will be faster. The KO showed this as Liddell was seconds away from an uppercut on Evans.

IMO Couture has survived because he adapts his game to his opponents, and his interview with Rogan about Lesnar alluded to that point

I think Couture vs Lesnar will be an awesome fight. Lesnar is a freak of nature in size & is a good wrestler whereas Couture has all that experience & wrestling skill as well

I think their fight will be a really good one. Lesnar is a freak with his size and speed and of course Randy has the experience and is no slouch in the wrestlin' department either. While I really want Lesnar to win, I can see Couture winning. Either way, good fight in the end. And the rest of the card is shaping up to be a good one overall.

Liddell simply got knocked out because of his style of fighting, he wants to stand up and exchange but doesnt put his chin down and protect his face, he throws punches hoping for his right hand to land and always goes for the KO,he throws a kick or two every now and then that does nothing, and that just won't cut it in todays MMA.
