I personally think Rashad is going to be to much for Thiago. I really like Thiago I just think Rashads strength is going to be to much.

Im really curious to see Dos santos and yvel as well. I mean Yvel is a wild man, but zero ground game so if Dos Santos cant take care of the standing I know he'll take it down and end it there. Its going to be interesting just to see yvel though.

Wow...Shinya Aoki just snapped Mizuto Hirota's arm like a twig and then proceeded to stand over him and stick his middle finger in his face.

Wow..good submission, but with the attitude I hope he gets suspended and fined his winnings from the fight. If this was any other professional sport he'd be penalized for sure. I can't stand unsportsmanlike conduct on any level and I hope this guy gets hit by a bus for being a ******

~~some of the comments here are funny. Everyone wants him to fight Penn now. I seriously think it would be a different fight against Penn. No way would it end up on the ground that fast unless Penn wanted it to.

I think so too,Rashad seems like a serious dude and clearly learned from his loss against Machida, the same way GSP lost to Serra.I think we will see a new Rashad against Silva, hopefully use his wrestling more.

And then ran around the ring flicking off the crowd too. :lol

Probably not going to happen, while that was defeintly not typical Aoki, MMA in Japan is a totally different animal than in the US. Over there while it might not be a good thing, its all about the entertainment factor. The more entertainment added to the show the better. While the crowd was still cheering while staring at the bird, once they realize what was going on, they might have a different view of him as one of there heroess, but getting fined or anything like that most likely wont happen. Hes been one of there heroes since early Shooto days. He can do no wrong.

That sucks. Well, hopefully Dana doesn't ever want to recruit him to UFC. I know Tito is pretty bad with his show off stuff, but thats just crap.

Watched TUF season 1 Finale last night

Good to watch vintage stuff like that, I feel like I learn more about the UFC.

I'd heard all about the Forrest / Bonnar fight and it didn't disappoint. Was spectacular.

I pretty much watched all the series and loved every minute. Season 2 starts next week so I cannot wait for that!!

Was bisping on series 2?

No worries there man, Aoki fights for Dream. They co-promote with Strikeforce so theres no chance youll ever see Aoki in the UFC. Plus hes to small and primarily a ground/submission guy, Dana would most likely consider him a "boring" fighter and by that most casual US fans would probably think the same. I think Strikeforce is actually trying to figure out a way to market him in the US for a hopeful US debut.

News is Takanori Gomi signed with the UFC. Honestly.. it's kinda late imho. He's 2-2 in his last 4 fights, hasn't been a ranked LW in a long time and those 2 losses were to unranked fighters. So it's kinda meh. I guess BJ could choke him out again. :dunno

:lol

lol hahaha I hope Rampage finally shows his slamming capablities and puts him to sleep.

So is Hughes. :D

nah, peeps got him in the wrong spotlight, and I knew someone was goin that route with me once I posted that.

I shouldn't of let it hang in the wind for someone to slam the window edge down on my limp :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:lol

I know he was talking with UFC reps and Strikeforce reps...its going to be interesting to see how he adapts to the cage. I know he fought BJ in a cage long ago, but still that was a while back. I love Gomi that dudes got some sick hands, but he better bring his "A" game because hes not the same fighter as he was when he was in PRIDE/Bushido. Win or lose Im still a huge fan, but he does have alot of work to do because I agree his last few fights werent that impressive and he gassed out in his last Shooto fight barely winning.
