I was thinking Chuck vs. Tito would be #2 (if that fight happens). :lol

Explanation for the Vera/Jones fight:

The strike caused three fractures in Vera's right cheekbone, the fighter's manager, Matt Stansell, today told MMAjunkie.com. "The whole right side of Brandon's face was numb," Stansell said.

KenFlo cuts opponents open with his elbows, Jones murders people with his. :lol

Agree with everything you said azure, the only minor change I'd make to your list is lil nog at 5 and Jones at 6. Simply because lil nog's win over Luis Arthur Cane means more than Jones' wins over Vera, O'Brien, Bonnar & Gusmao combined when it comes to the UFC LHW division. Cane was close to a title shot. None of Jones' UFC opponents (including Vera) were anywhere near title contention. Minor change.

Either way, they should fight each other next. To this date, I still havent seen a lil nog fight, so thats why I put Jones above him and after I first saw Jones fight, I knew he would be my fav fighter  If Jones wins his next two fights........according to my fight schedule I posted above, he should get a title shot. The only thing that could mess my theory up is if somehow he had to fight Rashad, I dont think they would fight each other.

:lecture..............and the most dangerous

possibly........not sure if Bader is scheduled to fight anyone soon or not, but I think maybe if Bader wins his next fight, they may fight, but right now, Jones is higher up on the ladder. :naughty

he's not that much higher up. I dunno, i think that really should be Jones next fight.

Maybe Griffin vs. Jones first!?

Griffin? Seriously, I think Jones would pull a Silva on him..........except with this

No one wants to see griffin/jones. But with the way white and Fertitta do buisiness, it could possibly happen. Hopefully not.

Huh? I love watching Griffin get beat down.

Griffin is rumored to be fighting Little Nog at 114. Putting Jones against the winner of that one makes sense to me.

While that spinning elbow from Jones is sweet, it's also illegal because he caught Bonnar on the back of the head behind the ear. :lol

techincally true, but at the same time you cant control that... once unleased is pretty much "up in the air" so to speak. It would be the same as someone throwing a head kick and at the last minute the opponent turns there head so it hits them in the back of the head instead of its intended side of the head. The spinning elbow is a technique that someone has to establish the rythm and distance of a fighter for it to land 100% properly and legally in that case. The fact that he actually made contact knocking bonnar down was amazing in itself without eating a punch or something.

Yeah I know.. it wasn't intentional. But still, it hit Bonnar in an illegal spot hence the knock down. And using your example, how impressive would Gonzaga's headkick KO over Cro Cop be if Cro Cop had turned at the last minute and Gonzaga unintentionally kicked him right in the back of the head? The throws Jones did in that fight to Bonnar were more impressive to me than that elbow. Just saying.

Like ArmoredFoe said, I was just impressed that he landed it.

If Gonzaga had kicked Cro Cop in the back of the head, I dont think Cro Cop would have come back. That would have caused brain damage.

Thats my favorite part of his game. Its amazing how easy he makes it look, but Griffin wouldnt make it very long against Jones. That Rampage fight was just so lucky cause Rampage had never been kicked like that, and he didnt check any of the kicks. Now everyone knows that part of Griffins game. In the end, it doesnt matter cause lil Nog will beat Griffin........I think, still havent seen him fight, but will go off of his resume.
