So the M-1 leeches and Strikeforce finally came to an agreement which means the Fedor/Werdum fight is a go for June 26. The interesting part is, it's going to be on Showtime. Not CBS.

Also the May 15th Heavy Artillery - Randleman/Roger Gracie fight might be off since it looks like Kevin got yet ANOTHER staph infection and might not be cleared.

Wonder what kind of an excuse they will use to justify it not being on CBS. Also I wonder how much they will pay Werdum for the dive.

Its all done to make sure Fedor is undefeated. I dont think Fedor wants to fight good fighters.

If Werdum somehow wins: Disaster.

If Fedor wins BUT..

Rogers somehow beats Overeem: Disaster.

Because the only fight left for Fedor in Strikeforce is the current HW champ Overeem (who hasn't defended the title for over 2 years and IS NOT a ranked HW BTW). So if Overeem loses to Rogers later this month.. that would mean Fedor (if he wins) would have to face the new Strikeforce HW champ Brett Rogers in a rematch. The same Rogers that Fedor beat last November, who then got a title shot off a loss instead of Fedor.

Pretty pathetic.

Personally I thikn Werdum isnt going to do much to Fedor...as far as some kind of plan for Fedor to stay undefeated...it has nothing to do with that and all to do with business. Fedor has said it himself that he knows he will lose eventually. Its no different then back in the day when everyone would ride all over Rickson Gracie he was the greatest in the world yet would only fight certain guys which most were considered cans. Again it was all about money...to me those guys are business men first adn fighters 2nd. Do I like Fedor hell yes, is he the best in the world...I dont think so because if your not fighting top competition then I'll say no, but is he conducting business the way it seems fit for him yes.

yeah there is no way Nick won that fight. He was winning the first round but the second round he was getting bullied and punched up. Judges sucked last night.

Nick wont get to the finals anyway. He is a decent striker but doesnt like to be pressed. All the guys saw that and know his fight game has holes.

If the fight went into the 3rd round like it should have, Nick would have gotten beaten. His takedowns were getting blocked, he was getting hit in the face too much and his kicks were predictable. For the #1 pick, he wasnt impressive at all.

Shogun/Rampage rematch would be sweet. I rather see Shogun win, I think his style makes for more interesting matchups in the division then Machida. I'm surprised alot of people are picking Machida since he really lost the 1st fight. But after that, you have to put your money on Machida.

I'm still 50/50 on if I'll order or download. The co-main event being koschek is not a seller for me, but him losing is.
