I know for sure that #2 wont happen. Once you lose respect for someone, its gone, theres no getting that back; you can dislike a guy, but still respect him, but I have a feeling Rashads game plan will be to lay and play with Rampage, so its gonna be up to Rampage to dictate where the fight goes.

Rashad already said that he will try and take the fight where ever it needs to go to win. He also said that he was not happy with how he kept going for takedowns against Thiago. So he might stand with him for a bit but if he feels he is losing, he will try and take it to the ground for sure. Its going to be similar to the Chuck fight.

I guess I view it from a different perspective. The reason I dislike it is because I don't really like fake drama for the sake of selling a fight. If two guys genuinely don't like each other, in reality them fighting isn't magically gonna change that. It would actually make it worse (especially for the loser). So when I see two fighters who supposedly hate each other smiling and hugging after the fight it's obvious all the smack talking, animosity, etc before the fight was just for promotion. It's some WWE type of ish and when it comes to real fights, imo it's not necessary.

:goodpost::exactly:

I totally agree. How can you be hanging out with the guy and riding in the same limo when you supposedly hate him? WWE did that alot and I couldnt stand it.

No hugging the loser please. :pfft: @azurepred Keep that bromance stuff some place else. :)

I can understand that, I do agree on the fake staged drama to sell a fight. I cant stand that and you can usually tell when its the fake trash talk. I mean again to me even the fact when someone bows or hugs, doesnt mean they like each other, lol like I said I look at it as a respect for the battle, but I dont want to repeat myself. I get what you guys are saying.

I get what you're saying too. Sorta like Royce Gracie shaking hands with a guy he just choked out. Yeah it was a sign of good sportsmanship but at the same time you could see the disgust and like "man F this guy for thinking he could F with Gracie JJ" look Royce had while doing it. :lol

Not sure if people are gonna watch this or not so spoilers..

DREAM 14 RESULTS

Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Imani Lee
Minowa Wins by Submission (Rear Naked Choke) Rd.1

Kenji Osawa vs. Yoshiro Maeda
Osawa Wins by Decision (Split)

Takafumi Otsuka vs. Kazuyuki Miyata
Miyata Wins by Decision (Split)

Akiyo Nishiura vs. Hideo Tokoro
Nishiura Wins by TKO (Punches) Rd.1

Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto vs. Federico Lopez
Kid Wins by KO (Punches) Rd.1

**Funny: When the ref jumped in to "save" Lopez he inadvertently kneed him in the face. lol. Nothing major but it was kinda funny. Ok.. I'm tired.

Joachim Hansen vs. Hiroyuki Takaya
Takaya Wins by KO Rd.1 - WOW!

Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Ralek Gracie
Gracie Wins by Decision (Unanimous) - Good Fight.

**Weird: Saku had a Kimura and when Ralek went to flip over to avoid it his pants kinda came off. So the dumbass ref froze the fight to pull up Gracie's pants. Completely killing the momentum, completely changing the position of the fighters before the ref stepped in, and possibly changing the fight outcome. Bad decision. After that Gracie was able to lock in a nice armbar on Saku with like 0:14 left. Saku escaped with a second or two left. So close. lol.

Nick Diaz vs. Hayato "Mach" Sakurai
Diaz Wins by Submission (Armbar) Rd.1

There's nothing wrong with a bit of shaking hands at the end of a fight between two fighters that dislike each other. For me, anyway. That's what's always made boxing and UFC good, the fact that 2 men who have just beat the ____ out of each other still show good sportsmanship at the end. As long as they're not overly friendly. I can totally see what you mean though Devil.

Cant wait to watch Dream 14, alot of good fights on that card.
I just read that at D15, Aoki is gonna fight Kawajiri. Personally I think Kawajiri will beat him, but then again if kawajiri doesnt fight smart he could get caught up in Aoki's ground game. Lets hope he learned something from Gilbert.

Just watched the 114's weigh ins. Man, I really hate Diego Sanchez. For some reason I just want the person fighting him to knock his head clean off his shoulders.

Is Diego fighting tonight? Didn't know that. Good card just got even better!

Yeah I didnt know that either until a few days ago.

I caught a live stream of DREAM 14 last night/early this morning on JustinTV. Good show. Only thing that sucked was the long intermission (but I think that might be cut when it's replayed on HDnet!?).

I'm hoping the stream holds out tonight. I just looked through loads of pages to find the stream you posted for Shogun a few weeks back Devil :lol

The hell? That's totally ____ed up ____.

This is the first PPV I've ordered in a long time. I don't think much can go wrong with tonight's match ups.

I love it. Some random thoughts:

Rampage vs Rashad...who ____ing knows how this will go down....

Bisping should win pretty easily imo. Something could go terribly wrong for him, I suppose. ...but if Maia could make Miller back up for 3 rounds, Bisping should be more than capable of doing the same.

I've been waiting a long time to see what Duffee can do. I can't believe that guy weighs less than the limit.

It's unfortunate that Lil Nog has to take a step back, but hopefully we get to see him showcase his boxing.

As always I hope Sanchez gets knocked out, but I don't see it happening. It should be a fast paced match regardless.

Cane vs Diabate and Amir vs Stun Gun should be great undercard action.
