The guy I would like to see do a cross over the most is Lebron James just cause hes 265 and crazy athletic and fast. If he has a good chin and wanted to do this sport, I think he could do well. I think he could do well in almost any physical sport if he put in the time.

Yeah I kinda feel that these guys that are so tall dont really have the right body type for fighting. Not saying they wouldnt do good for a fight or 2, but there not built for this sport which is why they play basketball.

Initially I thought this would be all Rashad, but after watching the prime time show and seeing how determined Quinton is, not to say that Rashad isnt, but seeing Quinton the way he was so pumped up I could easily see this going either way. I think if anything Quinton is going to have to watch Rashads takedown and leg kicks.

Nash this is for you:

Yeah but you've never seen a Rampage determined to redeem a loss / shogun fight!

I agree, the Rampage that Shogun fought long ago in Pride isnt the same Rampage stepping into the cage tomorrow night. So things will
definetly be different if it actually comes to be.

tomorrow is the day. I guess I'm rooting for Rampage but wouldnt be upset if if Rashad won. The game plan for both is pretty simple: Rampage needs to keep on his feet and off his back and Rashad either needs to wrestle him to the ground or stick and move. Should be an interesting fight.

Hope Bisping gets choked out or loses by fish and chips.

Yep...for some reason I want him to lose also :lol

Rashad will do as he always does jab and move ... snore.

I want Rampage to slam him through the Octogon! :pfft:

Rampage hasnt slammed anyone in ages...I remember he made a comment about it saying that everyone knows he does it so he stopped, but it would interesting to see if he did it again. I remember him also saying something about slamming people doesnt work as well when your in the cage as opposed to fighting in a ring where most of his slams took place.

Check it out: Tito Ortiz' neck surgery.

WTF? lol I guess he did this so Chuck would believe him.

It works well when you leave them unconscience! I think Ramp could slam him and pund his ass. I dont know how long Rashad wants to keep the fight standing up, even though he has good stand up, I think Ramp has more technical boxing.

I reckon Rashad's striking is underrated. He's powerful and has good head movement. That's from what i've seen of him anyway. And we've all seen what he's done to a fair few UFC legends.

True, but I think what he was getting at was the the fact that the cage doesnt give when you get backed against it so it leaves no room to really grab and lift a person if there bracing themselves on the fence, where as ropes from the ring give way and allow you to get around your opponent.

I think Matt Hughes in his prime showed how to successfully lift and slam your oppenent in the cage rather hard. I remember when Ramp fought Forrest, if Forrest didnt let go of the triangle, he would have suffered a painful fate.
