Super Freak
Leg Kick early in the first.
How did he break it?
The crazy thing is, Chuck looked GOOD.. and still lost by brutal KO. lol.
____ing awesome event.
The bar I was at went bat____ crazy when Mirko put on that choke. I went all school girl at Jonas Brothers concert. Berry fought well in the first, don't know what happened there.
Heartbreaking loss for Liddell. He really could have won that fight. Not that I want to take away from Rich(that's a lie), but I honestly think Tito can knock out Chuck these days. A sad turn of events for one of the all time greats.
No MMAtonight or whatever ESPN2 calls their post fights show? Hmmm.
I didn't notice at the bar, but Chuck's upper lip is ____ed up. Like split in half.
One of the few things you cant train is your chin.
Is the event done in the west?
Here's a sherdog thread with it...The Liddell pic that is...

I think Chuck and Tito have been done for awhile now. That being said, Chuck looked great up to that point, he just falls into bad habits that used to not cost him fights. I think Tito is worse off than Chuck by far. You also have to look at the guys that have KO'd Chuck. Rashad, former LHW champ, Shogun, current LHW champ, Rampage, former LHW champ, and Rich, who would prolly still be the 2nd best MW guy if he was still in the division. I think Chuck has faced tougher competition now adays than when he was champ for so long, but on top of that, his age is a factor as well. Its still possible that Chuck and Tito will still fight, but I havent seen TUF, so I gotta see what happened with all that.
True but I don't think that's the case here. Up until UFC 71 his chin was never suspect and never in question IMO. Never heard or saw anything regarding that (as opposed to someone like Arlovski where his chin is CONSTANTLY questioned since he was KTFO in his first MMA fight).
So I'd say it's more a case of "you can't fix damaged goods".
Yep, I agree...I think its just a matter of overtime hes just to damaged now.
From Yahoo Sports:
"....Two of the judges had MacDonald up 20-18 at the time of the stop. The third had it a draw, 19-19. If the judges would have scored the fight 10-8 for Condit, as it appeared they might, the fight would have wound up a majority draw.
MacDonald didn’t complain about the stoppage....."
