Oh nooooo. Damn that was tight. So it finally happened. It now gets really interesting what will happen. Will Fedor retire, will he go to the UFC. Either way his loss is a big blow to Strike Force. That can put them under, I guess no PPV for them with Fedor v Overeem. But it was bound to happen. It was a great run.

Well...I DID say that Werdum was the best HW BJJ practicioner in the world : )

Fedor sure got sloppy. I'm already arguing with people on a few mma forums regarding comparisons between Werdum and Noguiera(who Fedor has beaten on numerous occassions).

Werdum's BJJ is on another ******* planet compared to Minotauro's. Not even close.

I think we will see a rematch between the two, however. Yes, even before Werdum vs. Overeem.

Somewhere in Vegas, Dana White is having the time of his life.

Maybe Vadim. M-1 has no one else. Garbage ass company.

Well so much for the Fedor vs. Overeem PPV. :slap

:lol:lol:lol

Why are they garbage???? There just an MMA company putting on fights. They do have some good fighters, and I rather free then PPV. UFC is 1 or 2 a month that adds up for $50 a pop.

Not sloppy. Like you point out, he did the same exact thing with Nog. Werdum just has better pure BJJ than Nog (I would argue Nog is more accomplished in MMA by far though).

When Fedor first dove in and almost got caught with an Armbar he should've hopped up and kept it standing.

I'm talking about M-1. Not Strikeforce.

Right. He got sloppy. : )

And who in their right mind would argue that Nog isn't more accomplished? Of course he is. Simple fact.

I knew his BJJ would be trouble...what were the betting odds? Anyone know?

Exactly, why he went in his guard is beyond me. Really bad move to do that early. Let the sweat break in. He probably though he was invincible.

I'm going to piss off some of the Fedor fanatics who sleep with a picture of him next to them on youtube tomorrow. :) Should be fun.

Yes he is.

By the way, Gus Johnson should die.

Horribly.

Why, what happened? My feed got changed to something else once fedor stopped talking. :(

I hope they still fight sometime down the road.

i say Fedor ducked Overeem....

hahaha I dont think so. A loss is a loss.

Fedor was the underdog for the 1st Nog fight, not sure of the exact number.

Who pays for PPVs? Veetle is your friend.

+650 for Werdum

It's not getting sloppy. That's what he does. It worked against Nog. Didn't work vs. Werdum.

Regardless of that being "what he does" it was STILL sloppy.

If you would like to argue semantics for the next fifteen posts, be my guest.

But hanging around in the guard of the most dangerous HW BJJ practicioner in MMA - not once but twice - is something that I CONSIDER to be extremely sloppy.

So Werdum went 2-2 in the UFC with a KO loss to unknown JDS and then goes to Strikeforce and fights one can and one guy who tested positive for steroids. Beats them both and then makes the supposed #1 HW/P4P fighter in the world tap out like a little _____.

Like I said.. A sure thing is never a sure thing in MMA.
