Close fight but not sure about the decision. Sub attempts, takedown defense. I guess putting a guy to the cage and eating elbows means you win a round.

All of the fights except the co-main and main event were good. The main event ending was good but the fight was boring as hell for 2.5 rounds. The fight was lame. Neither guy wanted to do anything. Cro Cop got caught.

...definetly was a weak card. I was so disappointed in this card. I actually the fights would be more exciting, jesus was I wrong. even bader vs lil nog wasnt what I thought it was going to be. To me fight of the night was Sherk vs Dunham

Bader vs Lil Nog was very uneventful after the 1st round. It looked like Bader wanted to do just enough to win the fight and that was it. Mir vs Cro Cop was a joke. It was hugging for 2.5 rounds then Mir landed that surprise knee. Glad Melvin and Lytle won though but I wanted them both to win by KO.

I'm happy for two reasons:
1. I won money
2. Mir won by KO. Which I figured he would, just not by knee. Although it does bother me that many people consider it a "lucky knee." I'm of the belief that when you throw a knee/punch/kick, your intentions are to land that strike. You could see Mir pulling Cro Cop's head down into the knee as he threw it. His intentions were to hit him in the head with a knee. Simple. Luck had nothing to do with it. Argh.

yeah it was cool to see mir land the knee, but at the same time the fight was so boring that by the time the knee came I almost didnt even care. It seems to be that the UFC has put such high pressure on guys with getting cut or making sure you get that title shot that fighters are just getting over cautious and its causing major luls in the action. I mean the melvin fight as well...I was expecting him to go balls out and he didnt...he played it calm and cool. I know hes changed his game up some, but damn thats not what I was expecting from him either. I understand fighters have to get the win and I dont wanna hate on the guys cause in a sense there job is on the line
and they want to move up in the ranks and better themselves, but damn even Joe was saying "someone take a chance and do something" during the mir vs crocop fight.

Card wasnt bad until the main event, but now it looks like we have an oppenent for Jones now

Again, he threw the knee with the intention of it connecting with Mirko's face. Which it did. Mir didn't close his eyes and throw a jumping knee with his hands flailing in the air. He threw it to knock his head off.
Guess Cro Cop must've gotten "lazy" against Gonzaga and JDS(where he verbally submitted on strikes lol).
And why would I have enjoyed seeing Mir and Mirko hug on the cage? I didn't. Sounds to me like you're a bit butt hurt.

Well after watching the press conference Dana was having to explain why the event didnt live up to the hype. Which in one sense is the reason why I think he didnt give the KO of the night to Mir. As I said I think it was one of those issues where by the time Mir got the KO Dana was pissed about them laying on the fence for 2 and half rounds.

Nah I'm not butt hurt at all. Mirko and Mir both put on a crappy performance and only idiot Mir fans were happy with that fight. Glad he didnt get KO of the night.

Anyone see the video of Wanderlei telling Chael Sonnen off while they're on their way to Austin for the UFC event? It's pretty funny. I would not want Wandy telling me whats what.
