Whats funny about this card, is I was watching with a friend who say's who's left in the UFC. The Affliction card has almost ever UFC fighter
Lindland
Belfort - Ex Champ
Barnett - Ex Champ
Arlovski Ex Champ
Sokoujo
Babalu
Buentello

I thought it was funny.

Yeah i saw that, i wonder if it's cause Dana White pissed them all off or if Affliction likes UFC's left overs.

It put on ESPN to see if they would have anything on the fight, "The World Wide Leader in Sports". Nothing, they do have coverage of the Sugar Shane Mosley fight. I stopped watching boxing after Ike Quartey lost a ridiculous decision to Veron Forrest. But I remember meeting Sugar Shane before he was famous. I was going to get an autograph, but passed. He was a nobody, and I hate when people use the name "sugar". To me Sugar Ray Robinson is the best Pound for Pound boxer ever. And yes, I have seen his fights. Its just a shame that they next fighing Legend will go un-noticed. Just like to see respect be giving.

I thought Tim Sylvia hit him with a "phantom" punch. It's like the Ali or Clay/Liston fight. That Phantom Punch is real. Gotta learn how to throw it, becuase it works.

I think that if any of us gets hit that hard, thats how we would drop too....:D

I'm talking about Profesional fighters though, i mean Patrick Cote took a knee to the face from Anderson Sylva and didn't even get rocked. Tim Silva, who to me punches like someone who is extremly un-athletic, TKO Andrei after getting dropped and on his way up. It just seems to me like he has a glass chin.

That's interesting, i saw one clip of the fight but it was really bad quality.

From what I heard, don't know if its's true. But a KO to the chin occurs because the jaw gets pushed back and hits a nerve which shuts the body down. Something like that. Thats why you always aim for the chin, it works the same for everybody. But some people can take a punch and some can't.

This reminds me off the UFC Spike show this season, when some dude was drunk and said he couldn't be KO'd. He told his buddy to hit him, which he did and KO'd him. The dude woke up and was like "I wasn't out". It was funny.

That was the 2nd Arlovski/Sylvia fight. Arlovski was about to win, after hurting Tim, and Tim throw a weak punch and KO'd him. They fought again, and it was one of the most boring fights I ever seen.

Alittle after 2mins in, Tim Arlovski 2.

Saw this note on CBS Sportsline for the post fights press conference.

Tom Atencio in the Affliction press conference just hinted pretty strongly that Affliction may not be around much longer.

Atencio's remarks were, "There has to be competition, whether it's us or somebody else. Hopefully there's somebody out there that will continue to give [these fighters] a home and hopefully it will be us."
