Just saw the fight,must really suck for Arlovski as he went in with a good gameplan,keeps his distance with leg kicks but then he decided to go flying knee on Fedor and got caught,stupid mistake by Arlovski as he controlled Fedor before he got KO`d.

Some people just don't get rocked as easy as others, the ear/behind the ear is a KO spot and also on the top of the head. I guess some peple brain's just don't move as easy as others.

I just think if he wants to build up his rep even more then he should fight in the UFC. Barely anyone knows him excpet for the true MMA fans. If he wants people to say 50 years from now "remember that dude Fedor? He was a monster" then he needs to fight in the UFC.

I'd consider people who only watch the UFC far from "true MMA fans". Fedor is one of the most known icons in the sport. I consider Pride to be way bigger than the UFC ever will be.

Your reading comprehension is lacking, that was what he was saying.
Fedor is well known to MMA fans but to get the "mainstream" recognition he would need to fight in the UFC so more people would know about him.
My reading comprehension is fine. My point was that UFC doesnt mean "mainstream". Mainstream to who? Americans only?
Pride is a HUGE venue and by Fedor being there for so many years now, that is mainstream enough.

Not sure if you know this already but Pride no longer exists. UFC purchased it. But I understand what you are trying to say and I agree that Pride was huge and mainstream enough.

I would like to see an Arolvski / Fedor rematch. I think overconfidence cost Arolvski the match. I sat there watching the fight and could not understand why he went for that flying knee? In a sense he helped Fedor knock him out with his own perpetual motion.
