Yeah Josh let that go way to long man, lol what was he waiting for.
I mean Mark was gushing like a faucet and pretty much limp

pulling shorts is for pansies, sonnen should get a rematch.

Careful there you don't want to offend Devil_Tard_666..Asperger's boy was quite impressed by Silva's vaseline smearing, short pulling, fence grabbing tactics :dunno

Complete destruction of Munoz on every level...You guys think Weidman is ready for Anderson?

4.gif

Yeah while Weidman looked good last night, personally I think hes over rated. In no way is he ready for Anderson. Now before people start crying and calling me out, I think the guys good, but I just dont think hes as good as everyone makes him out to be and definetly not Anderson good.

No one is as good as Anderson, no one will ever be worthy or ready to fight him, he's unbeatable. Greatest MMA fighter ever, people shouldn't even both try cause he'll just own them! :wink1: :monkey3

Here's some world class losing for you leonitwit. You're an expert in that area.

You're dumber than I thought. One was a Hail Mary victory after getting beaten from pillar to post for 99% of the fight the other came after after such a ridiculous amount of cheating that only a moron like you would be impressed :lol :lol :lol

Such a loser. The first victory came after Sonnen laid on Silva for 4.5 rounds. Go take a look at their faces after the fight. Silva looked fine. Sonnen was the one who was all beat up and bloody. And as per usual Sonnen tapped out like a little _____.

Second fight, more of the same. Sonnen laid on Silva for a whole round and did nothing but gas himself out. Then he got absolutely murked in the second round.

I find it hilarious/pathetic/ironic that people are calling Silva a cheater. :lol:lol:lol

Did everybody forget who got busted in the first fight for using an illegal substance!? LOLZ!

Sonnen cheating using TRT in the first fight >>>>>>>>>>>>> Silva grabbing Sonnen's shorts a couple times.

You like Sonnen and Nick Diaz. That says enough about you. Moron.

Sonnen did his time for cheating, but everybody seems to look the other way for Silva.

~~Roy Nelson and Shane Carwin are coaches for the next TUF season. Should be a fun season. I want Nelson to do his belly rub every time one of his team members gets a win.
Heavyweights Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson will be coaches on "The Ultimate Fighter" next season, UFC president Dana White said.

White revealed the information Wednesday to USA Today.

Carwin and Nelson will appear opposite one another on season 16 of the series, which is expected to begin during the fall. The show airs on FX.

"These two have been going at it on social media for a while and don't seem to like each other very much, but they are going to be seeing a lot of each other during this series," White told the newspaper.

Both Carwin and Nelson are former heavyweight titleholders.

Carwin claimed the UFC interim championship on March 27, 2010, with a first-round TKO of Frank Mir.

He relinquished the title in July 2010, falling victim to a second-round arm-triangle choke during a unification title bout with Brock Lesnar.

Carwin suffered his second loss in a row on June 11, 2011, when he came out on the short end of a unanimous decision to Junior dos Santos in a lopsided contest.

Later that year, Carwin (12-2) suffered a back injury while training. He underwent surgery to repair the problem. Nelson was the 2009 TUF heavyweight winner -- knocking out Brendan Schaub in the first round on Dec. 5 of that year.

He has since gone 3-3 inside the Octagon, but looked impressive during his most recent outing. Nelson knocked out Dave Herman in 51 seconds on May 26.

The former International Fight League heavyweight champion has a professional record of 17-7.

Rashad is thinking about going down to Middleweight. How would this mix up the weight division?? Seems like him dropping down would put him in the lineup of contenders, but I'm not sure how that weight cut will affect his power.

Former UFC light heavyweight Rashad Evans told ESPN.com on Thursday that he is giving "serious consideration" to moving to the middleweight division.

"I've been thinking about going down to middleweight lately," Evans said. "I haven't totally made up my mind. It's something I'm going to think about a little more in the coming months and see where my body's at, but I'm definitely giving it serious consideration. The odds of me moving down to 185 are 50-50 or better."

A potential title fight with middleweight champion Anderson Silva is fueling Evans' motivation to make the cut.

Despite several current middleweights being considered for top-contender status, Evans is confident he would not have to wait long to land a fight with the champion.

"Yes, I would like to fight Anderson at 185," Evans said. "Don't get me wrong, Anderson is my favorite fighter. He's somebody I've looked up to for a long time. But if I had the chance to fight Anderson, it would be a dream come true.

"I'd like to go right into a title fight, but realistically there are other contenders at 185, and to skip over everybody wouldn't be fair. So, it would make sense for me to establish myself in the weight class and have a fight or two, whatever the case may be."

An obstacle that could dash any hope of Evans becoming a middleweight is the physical impact such a cut might have on his body.

The 5-foot-11 native of Niagara Falls, N.Y., does not want to place too much stress on his stocky fame. He's also concerned that a difficult reduction in weight might diminish his performance inside the Octagon.

"I'm pretty sure I can make the cut," said Evans, who has a professional mixed martial arts record of 17-2-1, "but I've never been down that low. If I decide to move down, I will do a practice cut first to make sure my body can do it. That will determine whether I can fight at middleweight or not.

"I will also talk to my management team as well to see what they think, whether I should move down to 185. The last thing I want to do is move down and become half the athlete I am at 205.

"That's something that happened to me while wrestling in college (at Michigan State). I cut too much weight, and if I had competed one weight class higher I would have had a better career."

Evans began competing under Zuffa LLC, the parent company of UFC and Strikeforce, in 2005 when he claimed "The Ultimate Fighter 2" heavyweight tournament title. Afterward, Evans immediately returned to the light heavyweight division, where he became champion in December 2008 with a third-round knockout of Forrest Griffin.

Evans lost the belt to Lyoto Machida in May 2009.

While thoughts of competing at 185 pounds weigh heavyily on his mind, Evans remains a top contender at 205. If he leaves the division there will be no coming back.

"A move to 185 will be permanent," Evans said, "but what I've been thinking about also is that I'm one of the top contenders at 205, so there really is no reason for me to move other than fighting some different people. At 205 I fight tough guys anyway. Jon Jones (the current UFC light heavyweight champion) is a tough dude.

"I'm a 205-pound fighter and the reason I've been successful is that I have attributes that, being a smaller guy, I'm able to bring, like having the speed advantage, things like that. It's something I might not necessarily have at 185. That's something I have to think about as well."

Rashad wants to move down because he knows all that trash talking he did against the real contenders at LHW did jack-squat to actually help him win the fights, so he feels he'll have some size and strength advantage against "smaller" fighters.

-He trash talked Machida and was on the receiving end of one of the most brutal KOs in UFC history.

-After that he seemed scared to stand up and get hit anymore, so he wanted to try to out-wrestle his opponents, like against Thiago Silva and Rampage, and outscored them in the first 2 rounds- then almost got KOed in thew 3rd both times. Still didn't keep him from his BS trash talking.

-Again, when matching up against a fighter they were completely over-hyping as some young up-and-comer in Phil Davis, he should have had a clear stand-up advantage, but he chose to out-wrestle him.

-He trash talked JBJ like no one else, and after eating a few elbows in the 2nd round it seemed all he wanted to do was not get finished in that fight. He looked S-C-A-R-E-D.

Rashad is a decent fighter, I'll give him that, but he was never the contender at LHW that they made him out to be. He had a fairly easy road to a title match against the worst person at LHW to ever hold the belt. He had a highlight reel KO against Liddell, who was on the short end of the stick in his career, and wasn't even a good gatekeeper in the LHW division. There were a lot more fighters in that division worthy of a title match at that time than he was, but the UFC has no bracketing system to propel worthy fighters in a title shot. They're all about "popular" match-ups to up the PPV numbers. It definitely works for them.

Ever since his time on TUF, Rashad has been an arrogant mouth-smacker. I would have loved to see JBJ put him out or submit him, but seeing him run scared for 3 1/2 rounds was just about as satisfying. I'm sure he'll go into MW and get a couple meh wins against lack luster opponents and they'll push him into a "high-level" match against a "future HoFer" on their last leg, so he likely win and get a title shot and get his ass handed to him again.

Not a fan of Silva. He destroyed my favorite fighter twice. Definitely glad he shut Sonnen up again, but Rashad "owning" him?

Then again, from your posts I've seen here and in other threads, you intentionally post against the grain just to get a rise out of people. But what else should we expect from someone bragging about being a Marine in a toy/statue collector discussion forum.

Rashad might even be a top 5 in MW, but when he meets true upper echelon fighters he loses. I think he'd have one easy "welcome to the division" match up after cutting so much weight, and then have a rematch against Bisping.

I think that aside from Silva, that Belfort, Henderson and with Franklin coming back, they'd all handle him.
