Im a huge Belfort fan,...but im sorry...this fight is either FIXED or he turned retarded after he got cut.

Because Jones is 6'4" and has what, 81" reach? Plus he's a great wrestler.
i understand that, but watching the fight it looked to me like belfort wanted to just stand there to wait to get hit by bombs. he usually rushes in with speed for a 2 or 3 combo flurry. but there was none of that here. EVERYONE knows you have to get inside and stay inside with Jones' reach advantage...even Rashad said the same **** over and over until he fought. But yup, Rashad turned into a statue human target too...standing 6 feet out right in Jones' target zone the whole fight.

I was hoping Belfort would've ripped his arm off in the first round. Oh well, hopefully Jones won't wrap his car around another pole while he's out celebrating.

Thats easy to say man. Vitor had a good performance. I mean Jon on top throwing punches and elbows then getting sliced and carrying Jons weight on top after 2 arm bar attempts...I mean Im not sure how many people would still be bouncing around like nothing happened. I think his performance was good, but you could see after that first round GnP and the slice definetly gassed him going into the later rounds.
I dont think it was a wasted oppurtunity, he did what he could, Jon isnt an easy opponent to fight. Hes a guy that has crazy reach and like I always say understands his reach not like the other tall guys who dont know what to do once you get past their reach. Jon understands that on the outside he throws jabs/punches and leg kicks and if you move in on him, hes switches to elbows, knees and clinch fighting and then as Devil stated he smashes you with is wrestling and puts you where he needs you to again deliver the elbows/knees...rinse repeat.
Word is Belfort had a broken hand, suffered in training. I think the hand which made him pull out the Wand fight. It makes sense. I couldnt believe he was pulling guard and he basically didnt throw any punches.

I think Machida can beat Jones. Shogun gasses, so unless he can stop the fight in the first rd I dont think he can beat Jones. Hendo has a punches chance..but which Hendo shows up? The one that got dominated by Shields or the one that KO'd Fedor. Chael will pressure Jones but I think Jones reach and size is to much. Id like to see Gustaffson fight Jones. Jacre or Mousasi would also be a fun matchup before Id want to see 2-3 rematches again.
i understand danas desperate for this ppv to go on after the cancellation of the previous show.....but aint the fight the doctors call?....if belfort fought with a broken hand and the ufc knew this....everybody who bet on that fight should demand there money back as its nearly as good as a fix

I would imagine only Belforts camp knew, if it was disclosed I don't think the Commision would let him fight. He probablly did it for the pay check. Just Imagine if he did back out do 2 injury and that fight was called off.
I think Dana wants Jones v Chael next. I rather see Daniel Cormier vs Jones. Cormier wants the fight, doubt it will happen. I dont see any of the LHW or Chael beating Jones. Half of the LHW need to retire. That Division needs some new faces.
i have been scratching my head to think of good opponents other then silva for jones......but cormier wow........that would be a very interesting fight

Can Cormier make 205? Didn't he ruin his kidneys from all the weight cutting as a wrestler? I'd like to see that fight if he can.

Cormier is considering physically dropping down to 205. And TBH, it would be a HORRIBLE decision because everyone he would face at LHW would be 20-30 lbs bigger than him come fight night (since they would just be cutting weight to make 205).
The LHW division isn't like the HW division where a smaller fighter can turn a size disadvantage into an advantage by utilizing speed and movement against bigger, slower guys. Not only would his opponents be bigger physically but they'd be just as fast. Terrible decision IMO if he goes through with it.
