he got fedor because of the size disparity not his skills and fedor was declining already.

This is BS. Fedor fans always point out that Fedor made a career out of beating bigger fighters yet when he loses to one suddenly it's not fair. And declining!? He only had 1 loss at that point, to arguably the best BJJ HW in MMA. Not to mention Fedor was ranked #3 at the time.

if you remember, browne hyper extended his knee in the fight so he could not move when he got hit.

He wasn't going to move anyways, the finish came with Bigfoot pinning Browne against the fence and punching him.

overeem was just being a cocky douche in round 3.

Overeem was exhausted, not cocky. He couldn't finish Bigfoot in the first two rounds and paid for it in the third.

big foot was never a top fighter, just a very lucky one which gave the illusion that he was capable against top fighters.

Again, regardless of personal opinion he's still a top ten ranked HW (currently #5) with solid wins against Arlovski (#9) Fedor (#3) and Overeem (#3). That was my point. I can't recall someone so highly ranked with solid wins like that being so inconsistent. He's had two UFC HW title shots and failed miserably twice. Yet I think he could still beat a lot of HW's in the current top ten.

you really think arlovski was any good at that point in time? he was gun shy and was extremely chinny. fedor was declining although if you are a UFC nut hugger you will disagree. did you not see how much trouble he had with Brett Rogers and Werdum?

it is blatantly clear that you did not even watch the travis browne fight because he was picking apart bigfoot with his speed until he injured himself. and you seem to have no idea how alistair is like. it is commonplace knowledge that he has quite the ego and with his antics before the fight, it was clear that he did not respect bigfoot to keep his hands up. go rewatch the fight.

he was never inconsistent. he was always a slow, plodding fighter with heavy hands. anyone could tell that the fight would have ended the way it ended last night. look at the odds in vegas on the prop bets. he really would not beat anyone in the top ten.
