Davis is fighting Machida next at UFC 163. Also, Shogun isn't fighting Sonnen. He's been officially removed from UFC 161. He gassed just hearing the news.

But apparently his win over Hendo wasn't spectacular enough to erase the Jones choke out so now he's facing Davis while Jones heals up from his surgery. It's also looking more and more likely that Gustafsson might get the title shot instead. But who knows!?

Dana will make you pay for turning down fights. With him if you step up and lose he will reward you. Turn a fight down, for whatever reason, and he will get you at some point. Look at Chael, 3 title shots, TUF coach, TV spot, and he loses fights...in Dana's mind the guy will have a UFC job forever just because the guy will take any fight.

IMO the title shot should go to Gustafson or Glover. I'd really like to see Cormier cut the weight and challenge Bones.

I have to totally agree with this. I mean Im not a Chael fan, but like Ive said before the guy steps up when no one else will. Also as others have said, I actually think he has a decent chance against Shogun. Unless Shogun can finish him in the first, I see Chael grinding him down to exhaustion and getting the decision.

because Cain beat the piss out of him their last fight. I have no problem with a rematch but you should have to win 2-3 fights or more before getting a shot at the belt again. IMO it makes the belt worth less to just hand out title shots to guys. It makes guys hungrier.
