Yeah I have to say I doubted TJ the whole way. I was pretty much sure Renan had that fight and after that first round knock down Renan was never the same and I quickly realized TJ was on another level. My mind was blown the next 4 rounds. A great night of fights.

I turned it off after Hendo/Cormier because I thought the main event was a foregone conclusion. It wasn't until I read the PBP and saw Barao getting tooled that I turned it back on in time to see the finish. Crazy. :lol

Barao was dominated every round. In the post fight, Dana actually said a judge gave him one round, which is insane. I heard Faber wasn't smiling in any of the post fight pics, could be a camp change for Faber to fight him? You know deep down inside Faber is pissed

Faber was all smiles and congratulated TJ in the cage. I didn't see any hint of animosity.

Not animosity.. but it pretty much squashes Faber's chance at a title now unless he changes weight classes again. So inside he must be disappointed about that aspect. I'm sure he's happy for his team mate and camp because a title will definitely bring in business. Ask Serra. :lol

oh, I guess the person was misinformed when telling me then. I know they said the main coach Duane was moving to Colorado now.

Yeah Duane Bang is going to Colorado to open his own gym but TJ said him and Duane are good friends and he'll bring him back for his next fight. From what I gather Urijah and Duane were the ones that couldn't see eye to eye which caused the split apparently but I don't think its on bad terms. They just come to the conclusion they have different views on things and are keeping it professional. I think Martin Kampan is going to be the new striking coach.

I was listening to a podcast yesterday and they were laughing at Dominic Cruz because they were joking and saying hes probably pissed sitting at home thinking "that should have been my fight, if it wasn't injured" ha ha ha

Well it was Cruz's style that ended up being the way to beat barao . I think tj is quicker than Cruz though

Silva out against Sonnen.........basically admitting to everyone that he was doping in the process. I hope Vitor gets approved, he is pretty exciting to watch.

That's crazy about Wand. Sonnen always said Wand would drop out of the fight. Waiting to hear what Wand has to say.

yeah TJ was much more aggressive. I with the striking than I think Cruz would have been. I don't think Cruz could have beat Renan...then again I didn't
think TJ was going to do it either before that fight happened.

As much as I love Wand, hes a pretty one dimensional fighter and still hasn't evolved past the looping punch. Hes super exciting and I was excited to see that fight and while I think Vitor puts on a much more technical fight I was looking
forward to Wands sloppy in the pocket exchanges with Chael, but more than likely would have gotten taken down for sure.

I watched this event Saturday night, pretty good card overall. EXCEPT the Ross decision loss debacle. Sounds like Boxing related officiating problems are creeping into this sport. I would have gladly watched the Cotto vs. Martinez fight, but not for the price. Free TV wins out against PPV.

haha, theres no creeping man, its alive and well. The judges are horrible and always make bad decisions. This is why Mr. Whites "Don't leave it in the hands of the judges" has gotten so much say now. Its like the new motto of MMA.

Ross controlled every aspect of that fight and I cant stand Diego anyways. Im a big Pearson fan and to see him lose by that horrible decision to someone whose only real skill is having a chin and coming forward was bs.
