Invader Zim is one of my favorite shows, I love it, I know the fans are mostly emo girls, but that was not the case always, I was a fan of the Comic Book Johnny the Homicidal Maniac
a pretty funny but dark comic about a serial killer,
the guy that did that comic ended up doing invader zim.....
I Blame Hot Topic,
When the show started I remember, my and my friends would talk about it and most "emo girls" had no idea what it was, Hot Topic had to get its sticky nasty emo hands on it and started to market the crap out of it....
Even Now, I see girls with Invader Zim shirts and they have no idea is a Tv show
Anyways... I Loved the Show, it reminded me of Ren and Stimpy, another favorite of mine,
I think the show was cancelled due to the cost of each episode being too high, due to complains from parents whose children were scared of the show, and low ratings, or something
but Nickelodeon wanted to do a video game o Zim and wanted to do an Hour long Movie called Invader Dib, where Dib would take a ship and go to Zim's planet, and there would be a battle, to end the show,
but then the creator jhonen vasquez just called it quits, I guess he got fed up with Nickelodeon, anyways I always hated that he quit, I wish they at least gave us the movie,
recently due to high ratings Nickelodeon asked jhonen vasquez if he wanted to bring the show back, but he declined,
there is even a group trying to bring the show back, they have over 10,000 members:

Last year they made thousands of calls and send hundreds of letters to Nickelodeon asking to bring the show back,
so this thread will be closed now?
and a INVADER Zim thread open in the TV section?
