After seeing Tom's display of Code 3 vehicles with the GG busts, I decided that the bust ups just weren't going to cut it. So I've finally cracked and got my first GG bust to keep. Boba Fett at $160 shipped, not too bad. Now I just need Vader and Han to go with my current vehicles. I want Chewie as well and I'm trying to hold off on Luke until I eventually get my X-Wing. And I promise these are the only 5 I'll ever get

I was watching a few on eBay and got one for $150 + s/h. The next one went for over $200, that's eBay sometimes.

I'm glad to see we're in the same boat. After purchasing Emperor Palpatine, I liked it so much I put in a pre-order for Maul. Then I decided I needed Vader as well (a Sithly trio), so I bought Fritz's from this board.

And I promise these are the only 3 I'll ever get. Uh-huh.

You can't leave out Dooku, he's one of the best looking sculpts in the whole line.

Do you have this one? I thought about it (collecting a SIth line) but on the GG website the Dooku's bust looks sad and round shouldered. Like he was depressed or something. Is the bust more imposing or impressive in person?

I think he looks great but the armless busts do look weird when next to all the others that have arms. I'm still confused as to why GG made some without arms.

Well thanks to Adam (Dark Shadow Collectibles), I know have the 3 busts to match my 3 ships. I'll get Chewie when he comes out and the search for the X-Wing continues

I am beyone impressed with the Vader bust. And for how cheap you can find them it is a great buy. Does it count if I buy a SW bust for someone else because I think I have to get my Dad one for Christmas.

I'm probably wrong but I think traditionally busts don't have arms, so I think that is what they were going for with the earlier busts.

That's exactly why the early ones were armless. Personally, I think they should've continued that trend. Now, they're nothing more than half-statues.

I just went down and bought the X-Wing Luke and Han Solo GG busts. Decided I just like them when Iwas looking at them in the store. I will get Chewie too and a few others, but I plan to stick just to the OT main characters.

HAHA, well they did have Bossk and IG88 sitting there too and I passed on them. So I stuck to the plan of main characters for the first day at least.
