:exactly: In my opinion, this is true.

I agree. I have played all 3 back to back, as I was late to the party.
And because I didn't have that long wait and anticipation, I'm actually a little burnt out, or underwhelmed by the third one. I totally loved the second one and it raised the bar very high from the first one and other games overall. Now the third one, I'm kind of getting bored and tired of going through the same motions. I couldn't wait to get out of that Chateau in France as I felt it dragged and was a little boring...until the Fire Escape part. THen to just find myself once again in another slow old building in Syria lol
It's ok, I'm just not blown away or would consider it the epic game to end all games like others feel lol

It's more of the same from part 2.

I just don't like the fact that it's an extremely, extremely linear experience and if you even THINK about doing something the developers didn't want you to do, you will die and have to do the sequence over and over again until you figure out what it is you have to do. The gameplay sections themselves feature gunplay that was dated in the Tomb Raider days and platforming that was done better in the Prince of Persia series.

I don't know, for as much effort as they put into the story and making it cinematic, they forgot how to make it fun to play somewhere along the line, and that's almost unforgivable. Especially after how great Uncharted 2 was.

My hate for the MGS series is well-documented, but I would rather sit through a 30-minute codec conversation than be misled by the illusion that I'm actually in control of even the most minute aspects of the outcome of the game.

I kinda agree. Game just doesn't blow me away. I'm not even blow away by the graphics. For the old PS3 or a console game...yes they are great. I'm just spoiled by new PC upgrade and the graphics I am seeing on there lol IT's kind of ruining Uncharted's party when I go and play that afterwards lol

As a cinematic story with all those fancy movie action parts, it's a great game for that though!

mybe it was a bad idea playing the back to back bro.
I feel like u are rushing the game just so you get back to your brand new pc heheh.

dude ! i know pc is the greatest for graphics you dont have to tell me. i am a veteran pc player like you.

uncharted pushes all the ps3 can do and it looks amazing for a 6 year console. If uncharted had a pc version I would play it on it for sure.
I am sure if they had a pc version you would have a dif opinion.

to me this is still is the best game of the year.
skyrim MW3 and others are amazing games but this game actually moved me with an awsome story and that is what i look in games.

Story #1 for me.

I'm not telling you PC is awesome and consoles suck lol I don't do that and don't try to show off. It is what is and I know where the best graphics are always going to be. And I'm proud to say I know I put alot of effort into my PC and yes it kicks ass, but at a price, right? That being said, I wasn't just talking about the graphics. And I'm not trashing or knocking the graphics. Of course they are beautiful and it's an aweome technical achievment on the PS3. I know that. But it's not going to cause me to be in denial that there are even more graphical intense games out there. I wouldn't play it it all if I didn't know it was a good game like you told me. You have to understand man, whenever I or even other people, or Dinolast for example find the negatives in something, doesn't mean we don't like it. Just being realistic and can know the pros and cons in everything. And yes the story is awesome, cinematic, like a movie etc. I love that too and good story, acting etc.
It's just the play mechanics are what is a little old or dated, like that guy said. Plus like I said, I never had a break. Just back to back to back, so feels all the same too many times. Should have taken a break and played a new PC game in between first lol Yeah, jumping around too much lol But I'm not rushing. You know I take my time with these games! Sit down 9PM, drink, snacks and relax and play for 2 hours a night lol I am enjoying it! Again, just because I don't think it's the best game of the whole year, or better than #2, doesn't mean I don't like it or it's not a good game. Because it IS a good game, a great game and I'm enjoying the experience. But yes, after this game, it's more focus on the PC and my list of games on there. But I will still always find something to occupy my time on the PS3 and chip away at someting else, when not on the PC. Maybe finish up the God Of War series next!

Story #1 for me.

How did the story move you? It was pretty pedestrian story telling...

So Sully took young Jake off the streets of Rio
...then 30 years later the woman Sully screwed over wants the ring back to find the desert city
...but Jake is Indiana Jones and wants to get there first. And does. The end.

Plus there were a few giant action sequences, often having nothing to do with the story...."Oh no a tsunami is coming for some reason!" :D

I must must be honest and admit, this part was a bit of a let down ending wise. Very anticlimactic. It felt like they did not know what to do with the game when you reach the end. It felt like you go through all this much work and trouble for a sub-par ending.

Besides that, the rest of the game was very entertaining. Love the Ship and Airplane chapters. Lots of action scene that had that "Indy" vibe and comedy. "Road Kill" part had me laughing. Hope to see more Uncharted in the future. Part 2 for me was the best with this one following up.

I tried out Ucharted 3 in breathtaking 3D

Dude it is crazy in 3D. Just upgraded to a 55 inch led samsung. Never was a fan of 3d but my wife can't get enough of it. The 3D for Uncharted blew me away, especially the airplane level.

See, I really don't understand this comment...

Uncharted is a linear experience. It was always that way from the start and we're into the 3rd game. How could you expect anything different? You should know by now what you're getting with an Uncharted game! :lecture

Also saying the gameplay dates back to the Tomb Raider days is being extreme. I'd agree if you said the Uncharted 2 shooting mechanics were better, (although the new 1.2 patch ND released fixed this issue) but come on!

Be reasonable.

I haven't played a PoP game so I honestly can't comment on the climbing segments...

Again, you said Uncharted 2 was great, but that was JUST as linear as U3 and Drakes Fortune was.

So basically you've been misled 3 times?! Who's fault is that? Yours? Or the Developers?

ha ha ha sorry...Nate (Nathan) Drake ....he just looks like a Jake to me :slap

:rotfl You had me confused!
