just saw the pics! this is SO ordered! EX FTW!

Just get a case for it, and display it like sideshow did (with a **** ton of sand dumped over it).

$35 deposit? It shall be done. This looks incredible, and it's one of the select pieces that I am majorly looking forward to this year.

if the base bothers anyone, it's esily fixable. Get a picture frame with a thick enough frame or build a frame out of some basswood or balsawood, dump some sand in there that you can get from a pet shop and you're all set

To save money I might not get the EX. Might be cheaper if I get the regular version locally, & avoid all those import fee's. But I guess I'll see how I'm feeling when it actually goes up for pre order.

This is one of the most impressive SSC PF statues I've seen. I like the idea of putting sand around the base, even though the base doesn't bother me that much, as is.

I'm still a bit concerned that SSC will mess up the paint app

Those aren't all the pics though. Sideshow is holding out on us. There are at least 4 more pics with the EX and about 3-4 w/o the EX arm judging buy the image numbers in the links

Agreed, this is a very impressive PF IMO. One of the more impressive ones especially compared to some of the female PFs which unfortunately seem to have to in a looking back kind of pose. Love the Laura Croft PF though, great pose/base

And I too am a little concerned about the paint apps. However, i do love paiting up Trevor sculpts so it might not be so bad if the paint apps aren't great I may end up repainting it anyway

I don't mind the base. The worst of it is that gap between the wall and sand. They could've done something more creative than a black border, such as Francis Drake's ring, but sometimes simple is better.

So Poison Ivy EX on PO, Batman PF EX on PO and Supes if we ever get lucky to PO him this year.
Concerning Drake I'll go for the EX as the price for the retailer here in Europe would be the same for the regular not to mentioned a bit higher. Besides I love this gun for the EX. So EX all the way. Anyone can figure out how big (height) this will be???
