Ha been sheeting it down most of the day.

I snuck out into my shed earlier to start on a new project and found it flooded!

Spent the rest of the afternoon on the roof wrestling with tarpaulin, wind & rain, trying to stem the Tsunami which was flowing through it. Hence the nice hot bath and glass of the finest!

Wow that's a lot of troopers.... I can't even afford a single TT body atm... my best bodies are BBI G3.5's that I was using for one guy, but I had to buy another one.... cuz one day I was posing his arm (which had worked fine before and was not loose), and it simply snapped off. Like that! Just above the bicep, just below the shoulder... could see a little built in peggy thing inside that had broken... now I use that body for zombies!

Hey customizers,(particularly UK guys)
Just as an FYI, we are having our winter toy show coming up on Dec. 2nd.
I'm pretty sure I'm going. If anyone wants me to try and look for anything, I'll make a list and tell me the most you want to pay for it. I'm thinking along the lines of Hasbro droids, but it could be anything. It seems some folks are thinking they are scarce on evilbay, expensive, or maybe both. And I'm not sure how much shipping would be, but with the economy being down, maybe some of these guys will be desperate. Maybe they'll be greedy jerks, who knows. But I'll put it out there with the understanding that 1) if something comes up, I may not even go and 2) no expectations. It's a strip mall show, so it's not real big, so there's no way I could come away with 5 or 6 R2's. There just isn't that many dealers with SW. It's pretty much considered junk to them and I've watched this show turn from a cool show to basically a HW convention-go figure. So if you need any Hasbro fodder, shoot me a PM. I'll look for SS too, but historically the prices are better on eBay if you're patient. We'll see. Hopefully I'll be able to help at least 1 or 2 of you guys.

Im thinking of using my koto biker scout and making him 1/6, i dont know how hard it will be as the head and chest looks quite solid but the rest looks fairly easy to remove. Im also gonna make a base for my speeder bike and repaint it. time for me to buy some aquarium bits for the foliage

Cool project there Cbob. I tried dremmeling out everything from this figure a while back and fitting it on a 1/6 body but some of the koto armor has weird kinks and bends and was going to be awkward fitting on a 1/6 body. I only gave it a half assed attempt tho so if you go 100% Im sure you'll end up with good results. You'll probably have to use a TTslim body or a medicom body as that koto statue is smaller than 1/6 i think? Anyway, good luck man! Excited to see this one.

Cheers man. Thankfully everything is perfectly straight, im not using the gloves or boots off the koto obviously cos they are all wonky Ive sized it up against a BBI body and it looks like a good match

question for the model makers out there, when you make complex pieces like a car engineer for example where pieces overlap each other, do you paint it first then assemble or assemble then paint? i never made any models growing up.

I normally paint then overlap, then do any touching up at the end if need be.

redid the esb han. made a mold/ cast of the anh han head and used it on this version. i actually like this sculpt. best han we have out yet so it makes do. also changed out the SS boots for dragon jackboots. really like the look of them.
