Even without Selene, it held it's own? I just couldn't wrap my head around an Underworld movie without Selene.

The only thing I dislike about 3 was it had some sucky cg with the werewolves.

What I didnt like about 3 was the lack of shades of grey. I would have preferred if both the Vamps and the Werewolves played more of a balance role....I never believed that the Vamps were the main baddies (as it were), but according to 3, they were...

I wouldn't mind seeing what unfolds after the third movie. We do see Tanis taking the Elders to safety via ship at the end. I think we should see more screen time of Amelia so lets do it....Kate and Zita in tight fitting clothes sounds perfect to me.

Bill Nighy's Viktor is what made the movies interesting to me. He is a fun actor to watch. The mythology was decent, but that is about it. I liked Lucian's character more in the first than in the third one. He was too "free the slaves" instead of cold like he was in the first. They also made the vampires too weak.

IMO the vampires are too weak in all of the movies. It just seems that Marcus and Viktor are the only ones that can stand toe-to-toe with the Lycans without having to rely on weapons. My favorite scene from the movies is in the first one at the end when Viktor jumps in and starts ripping Lycans apart with his hands.

Yeah, by their mythology it comes off that in order to be a non weak Vamp you must be an elder or have alot of age to you. If you're only a like 100 then you're weak. And the Lycans/Werewolves are all strong, only the elders like Lucian and William are strongest.

I think that was part of his character's evolution. The War basically turns Lucian into the person you see in the original Underworld.
If Michael Sheen and Bill Nighy are on board for UW4, then I'm there. Could care less about the rest.

Not sure if I can completely agree with that. I might be inclined to watch it even if it only showed Kate Beckinsdale running around in her tight leather outfit for 2 hours. And yes, Michael Sheen has become one of my favorite actors lately...especially after seeing him in Frost/ Nixon.
