I don't know, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it gets a 100 ES on the exclusive. And if it does, you can expect it to drive the price of the PZ PF exclusive through the roof on the secondary market.

I for one don't think they'll have a 100 Edition Size again. I think that was just to re-hype Patient Zero. Most of these recent PPOs have been TBD anyway. I hope this is the case as I hate low Edition Sizes, especially when work or whatever prevents you from being by a comptuer to order the minute they go up. The more the merrier I say. Share the love!

I wonder what the exclusive will be on this guy. Another switch out part? That seems to be a popular choice with Sideshow right now.

That was my take as well. Like he is crawling or maybe sitting up. With the hospital type gown he is wearing, I get a hospital/morgue vibe with him. So maybe a corpse, or carcass as they are calling him, on a autopsy table or crawling on the floor with the same tile pattern as PZ? Or maybe he is only half a figure, hense the possible crawling pose? No legs!

Either way, this is certainly a new take on the PF. Its also a new take for the Dead. An original PF character, which is what they should be doing. Why remake the 12" figures (some already were remade 3 times) when they can do new figures and things with them that wouldn't be possible with a 12" figure. Make them more skeletal or have big gaping wounds in the chests, etc. Something that PFs can do but 12"ers can't.

And he isn't listed as a subject # like every other zombie. So it is possible he is just a reanimated corpse and not an infected person? This piece further adds to the mystery of the Dead

I know many feel that way, but I don't. In part, it's my competitive nature. If I don't feel it takes any extra effort on my part, I don't appreciate it as much. And also, I have to go with what C1eaN posted in the Gandalf thread:

I understand what you guys are saying about the ES being less important than having one BUT......SS drives demand and makes more money off of feeding the idea that having an "exclusive" or low ES piece is better.

If they don't benefit or it isn't perceived as "better" then why have an "exclusive"? Just do 10,000 ES of every piece and sell as much as you can. So, I feel that if you are going to use words like "exclusive" to drive demand, you should be held to the definition of that word:

Definition of exclusive (adjective)
sole; limited to a selected few; incompatible; fashionable; unique

That pretty much sums it up for me. If they want to "share the love", then make 10,000 of everything. Problem is, many people (me included) would simply stop buying, or else wait until I could get things for half price or less on eBay.

That seems the likely choice to me too. But I hope they don't get repetitive. Make it something unique, not just another switch-out hand.

This PF worries me a little.....

I hope it isn't a horizontal PF because I think that means that we'll see half of it instead of a full body, which I really like.

I love Patient Zero because of his pose and his cloths and even the base is cool. Although many people seem to like the "dragging" corpse, I would prefer a stand up version....this PF seems to be truly disgusting and I would have preferred a Security guard or the business man one....

Not complaining, just my preference. I believe whatever SS comes up with, it will look good, but it might not be for me....

I dont collect the dead line, but man I was glad this finally came out for all the Dead collectors out there that have been waiting for another PF. I think I would have lost my mind if Marvel PFs were this scarcely produced.

Maybe it won't be completely prone, but sort of on one knee (because the other one is gone). One hand on the base, the other reaching menacingly forward. That could be very cool.

Well I think the Yoda vs Clone Trooper was just the begining of reaching out in new directions with the PFs. Hopefully this will be another!

I'm SO glad they are continuing this line. Looks amazing so far. I can't wait to see this piece in its entirety! My PZ was beginning to feel lonely. Now he'll have a buddy to shamble with.
