I didnt think it was terrible...just...meh.

It had zero character development, zero liner plot, and no one seemed like they fit. '

It felt unfinished, and rushed.

These points for starters. Also there was dreadful sound editing. Scenes that just felt dropped in' and dodgy effects.

Very poor.

What movies are scary anyway??? Does anyone ever actually forget it's all a movie.....?:duh:eek::peace

Good question. I haven't been scared by a movie since I was in my early teens while watching The Exorcist for the first time. Who actually goes to a movie like this expecting to be scared? Was anyone scared while watching the original Wolfman, or any other UM movie for that matter...I don't think so.

Agreed.

I still haven't heard legitimate criticism aside from plot and it was rushed/unfinished.

It was certainly a quickly paced film, but to call it rushed is bogus IMO. It's a monster movie, you want to see the monster, not get bogged down in a director's attempt at "elevating" a werewolf movie into a pretentious borefest (i.e. most vampire movies and Kenneth Branagh's Frankenstein).

I didn't find it rushed either. I would have liked the movie to have been a bit longer, but the pacing didn't bother me at all.

I waited for what seemed like forever on this movie to come out. The trailer had me chomping at the bit! It's finally released and the theater in my 1.5 horse hometown (with 3 screens) isn't even screening it:banghead
All we got were the 3 worst-grossing movies of the weekend!

Damn I miss Atlanta!!

Yes...but the build up is what makes that apperence worth while. See Alien-Aliens- Predator- for example.

Predator?

Not my idea of a expertly delivered monster movie. And Alien was a "new" story and didn't have to contend with an audience that already knows the movie's storyline. I agree the build-up of suspense makes the "pay off" all the more enjoyable, and I feel The Wolfman offered that build-up while still keeping the pace quick.

I love this movie...but I'm kinda biased being a lycantrophile (if this is even a word) and a Del Toro fan..

Predator is a classic monster movie....

The Wolfman, and all the Wolfman scenes were worth the 5 bucks I paid. But everything else was just...bah.

.
I don't know man, Predator is more cheesy 80's sci-fi flick IMO... but that's me.
