Media Until Dawn - PS4 Survival Horror

got the game a while ago, so far im in chapter 3 and its been great so far. read the reviews that its a 10 hour playthrough more or less but you can get multiple endings so it'll be great to see who lives and dies on my 1st playthrough.

I think I'm at halfway point of the game now, and the game keeps getting better and better.
The first parts of the game is full of funny banter between the charactrers...lots of sarcastic humor. But once **** hit the fan, it gets tense.
And I was pretty confident at first that I was gonna have most of my crew survive at the end.
Nope, two died last night including one which I didnt think was possible cause I was kinda thinking this person might be the killer.
And the way they die...its pretty gruesome that even for a horror fan like me, I was still shocked.

I almost want to restart the game. lol.

Just play it out and go back later to the chapter and try and save them.

I was going to get Arkham Knight, but now I'm really leaving toward this.

I scare very easy though so I think I need to keep an extra set of underwear close by if i do pick it up.

That is tough decision. But for me personally, I'm enjoying this more than Arkham Knight. And I'm a big batman fan.
I actually bought my ps4 for Arkham Knight, and also because I knew I need to have a ps4 when Until Dawn comes out. But after finishing Arkham Knight, for me, it was underwhelming.
Its like when you are 60% in it...its like the best batman game ever, and story was strong. Then after that...its like they fumbled the ball, and
the game became a chore. People are not exxagerating when it becomes a lot of tank battles.

Personally, I'm enjoying this game more. Now, granted...I'm also only 50% into it.
But I can see playing this for several times. And its one of those games I would like to play around halloween, or after I watch another good horror movie. Kinda like the Silent Hill games and Resident Evil that I still play again and again.

The ambience is great, specially if you have surround sound going. Its cool hearing you walk through the snow, and hear stuff all around you.
LOL...and yes, it did get me a couple of times on those stupid cheap scares...that you kinda laugh at yourself for getting scared.

I have to admit though, Silent Hill - P.T. scared the living **** out of me.

I'm hoping I can throw this game on and my girlfriend can sit with me and help make decisions. She likes horror films so I'm sure this would be right up her alley.

Arkham knight was a bit overrated IMO.

I Didn't pick up the game,, i saw some bits on youtube but i stopped because it's something that i need to experience instead of watching.

Arkham knight was a bit overrated IMO.

what killed it for me was that you were forced to use the batmobile. @deadman &badmutha, pick this one up, its awesome and i couldnt put the controller down and that rarely happens to me. you get hooked and keep pushing to see whats gonna happen next. so far 2 of my characters have died.

Having fun with this game. Playing it for about 2 hours at a time, and at night with headphones is the way to go......I normally hate games with Heavy Rain like controls, but this one is a definite exception. Just enough controls where it feels like a legit game and not just an interactive movie.

i just finished the game, damn, those hold the controller still moments are frikkin tense, especially towards the end. i had one of my characters die cuz i slightly moved the controller.........and it was the very last part.

Oh man, I'm dreading that part then.
I keep failing those parts where I have to hold the controller still.

I love the sessions with the psychiatrist. It took me a while to figure out the actor is the devil from Constantine.

good luck man! im gonna give it another run to see if i can save all of them. i lost 3 of my characters. i did save Ashley and Mike which were the ones i liked the most.
