I'm on another play through again, this time not being civil in some responses.
Agreed, I hope this games gets a sequel. As much as I love the characters, I would love if a few have cameos, but I want an entirely new cast.

This game is just incredible.
I can't help every time I'm playing to just look at the atmosphere, and be amazed and wish I was on vacation there.
Well...minus the...you know. :lol

I thought I was close to the end yesterday, but didn't have a chance to finish. I'm hoping I can get on it tonight and finish my first play through. My cousin liked the game so much he wants me to stream when I play again so he can enjoy the ending. He is far from a gamer, but said he has enjoyed this story immensely. I think when a game can be that captivating, it is a true winner.

I rented from redbox on Saturday morning and couldn't stop playing. Beat it that night with everyone alive the very first time. Very intense game and I enjoyed it alot. I started a replay and have now lost Chris right after you go with the flamethrower guy to look for Josh. Its fun making different choices this time around. I really want to make sure Emily doesn't make it out this time. She sucks something awful.

anybody experienced this mistake ?

Mike suppose to look for matches to turn on the fire for Jessica.. later on, when he run after the killer he had a lighter zippo in his pockets all of for sudden to turn on the oil lamp....

That's the thing, even if you take out the video game elements and look at it strictly as a movie...this would be a great horror movie.
Its funny cause it makes it looks like a cheesy B horror movie in the beginning, with awkward acting...then later on...its like all the actors turned it up a notch...and the game really becomes tense.
This game honestly in my opinion is brilliant, and I think its a game changer cause I can see other games later on try to mimick it.

Its funny cause if you watch the behind the scenes after you finish the game, the actress seemed like a nice girl.
But good gosh...I dont think I have ever rooted for a character to die badly. lol

Just probably a minor script oversight by the developers. That happens even in every single movie, where you can catch a mistake the directors forget to reshoot.

I absolutely loved this game. I wasn’t really expecting much going in but it was great!

First play through was a live stream which was a lot of fun and then I finished up the platinum today.

No, but that would have been pretty funny to see her at the end come out alive.

Sam survived.

At least now I know what not to do in order to keep everyone alive.

Whew!
Yeah, that would have been hilarious if Emily turned out to be the only survivor. Lol.

I'm glad Sam survived on your play through. :hi5:

Someone had to survive, right? Although I'm pretty sure that if I didn't have a table in front of me for the "be still" parts at the end, Sam would have met her demise.

Well, you throw the match into the fireplace to start the fire. You wouldn't do that with a lighter. Much harder to start the fire with the lighter, so not really a mistake but a realistic circumstance.

Watched a playthrough where a guy saved all but josh. He was really good at the decision making.

Only two survived my playthrough. Gonna check online what to do to save all. Don't feel like doing it the trial and error way.

Couldn't resist and bought the game yesterday. I just started Chapter 3 and it's so much fun!!

I do worry about those QTEs and 'Don't Move' parts. I'm gonna fail those so badly when it's a question of life or death.

Finished the other day. Kind of disappointed with it though--I looked up the other options and there's really not that much branching storyline, you can't do anything significant until near the end. My guess is that they wanted the game to be a certain length no matter what, but it's disappointing that all the early situations that you think might lead to death don't do anything really.

There's no early decision that causes a death later on. When you get to one of the situations that can lead to death there's something you can do a little bit before or in that moment to avoid it.
