Thanks man, I am very happy that it has finally made it's way to you. Thanks for all of your patience, I know it hasn't been easy to put up with the constant delays and absences.

And thanks for the tip Joe... I am going to have to try that. I'm sick of painting a newly baked head and finding trouble spots. :lol

Tonight was all about eyes and details... I finished the Puller heads (they will just need to be sealed and eye glossed), I finished the eyes on several other figures and almost finished one of the Gladiator helmeted heads with the leftover paint. I would take pics, but my night time pics are horrible...

So I will snap pics in the morning for you guys. Now I can move my attention fully to the Indy TOD figure and the Gladiator stuff, as well as the Roy and leftover Myers.

It's slowly getting done though, we are very close to being completely done with all of this stuff.

Here are the update pics promised!

Looking good , no denying that's some fine quality paint work.
So is that my remake Jason head or Myers at the back there Josh or is there someone else waiting also ?. I'm a little confused as to what's left for who. :lol

Keep up the great work, this should end on a somewhat positive note which is always a good thing.

Thanks man... I appreciate that. And yes that Jason and that Myers are yours, I am trying to get them closer to completion before I try and mail them next week. The Jason is now done, just needs some hair (which will take all of 5 seconds. :D). The Myers I need to do the white and will add hair also. I'd like to send you as much complete or mostly complete stuff as I can.

Thanks Tay, If it takes me longer than a week I will just get a quote and mail it out regardless. I don't want to let you wait any longer, you've really waited long enough. They are next on my list. The Jason will be done tonight, so that is a good thing. One down! :lol

Tonight was all about eyes... I glossed the eyes on all of the Puller heads, sealed the heads also. The Maximus head was finished and sealed/glossed. The Deckards had final eye details, as well as mouth details. I started hair work on all the remaining Maximus heads, added some more to the Indy TOD and haired and glossed/sealed the Remake Jason head.

Pics to come soon, I might even wait until the next night is over so I have more to show than just showing the same heads in various stages of completion. :lol

i never bought anything from you. by the time i joined i think you were in the situation you were already in now but with that being said i'm glad your making everything right and i salute you for that and let me tell you your work is pretty awesome.

Thanks man, that is very cool of you to say. I've looked around the customs threads, and I am waaaaaay out of date compared to the rest of the guys. Everyone has stepped up and is creating some truly inspired stuff (seb is KILLING it especially). I'm just glad to be painting at all anymore.

This situation has been a stain on my soul and I really just want to do whatever I can to make it right. People here deserve better than that, and I am dedicated to finishing this and putting this all to rest.

It's good to see you back and painting Josh. I know you had been away for awhile but it looks like you are picking up where you left off. Nice job. :hi5:

Thanks man! I'm really glad things are coming back into the positive spectrum here in this thread, I really feel like I have some great momentum right now.

Tonight I finished a Roy head, finished the Jason remake and put the first coat on his mask. I also finished two Deckard heads, one Hero Heads sculpt and one of my custom Deckard heads. I also worked on skin for the Body of the TOD Indy and started stubble, eyes, and hair for him. I finished the first coat for hair on the Maximus statue heads and prepped an Ash body for painting as well.

I'm getting to the end of what I have on my desk, and I will start trying to find out where some of this completed stuff goes. But I don't have much in the lineup left for anybody, but I will go over my records (thanks to Carl and Jen.. you guys saved my butt on that, and taught me a valuable lesson about keeping better business records) and see if I have missed anyone.

We are close though, and that makes me really happy.

Wow DA you still got it :horror

Its great you finally finished this off it took huge balls to come back from that. But it makes me sad to think you will be hanging up your paint brush as you were one of the custom artists that gained my interest in custom figures :(

Thanks Pete, I love how that head came out as well! I was worried I had stayed away for too long! But the rust went away pretty quick. :lol

And don't worry man, I won't be hanging up the brushes. It's a part of who I am, so that won't be happening. I'm just retooling my business model. I won't be doing group commissions or anything crazy in bulk like that.

I want to sculpt some more 1:1 scale stuff, maybe offer resin copies. I will also be experimenting with canvas work, and still try to make custom figures when I can. I need to step up my game with the figures, and I plan to do whatever I can to do that. So I won't be stopping... it's a part of my DNA and I couldn't stop if I tried.

Thanks Marc, Joe! Yeah, my part of the Puller project is now done! They are ready to head out to you whenever you are ready.

And thanks for the kind words about the painting Joe, it's only my second canvas painting ever... so I was pretty nervous about it. I look forward to finishing it.. I don't have much left to do now.
