Hello everyone,

I'm still quite new to the board, but I'd like to show you guys some of my custom works with Hot Toys figures (Predator related so far). I started the collecting hobby about 5 or 6 years ago with (at this point classic) McFarlane figures from the Movie Maniacs series. I'm a big fan of both Alien and Predator franchises, so there was a nice selection to choose from. Later on, when McFarlane lost the license, I moved onto NECA toys, and that's where it all started. NECA's Predators were much worse quality wise and I couldn't just leave them like they were out of the box. I already had some experience in painting thanks to my other hobby (Games Workshop, mostly Warhammer 40,000) so I knew where to start. I repainted a few figures, then a few more and I couldn't stop. Every figure I bought went straight to my desk for repainting. Later on, thanks to a friend's suggestion, I opened a facebook page dedicated to my repaints and customs, and before I knew it, people started asking If I take commissions. I was flattered and of course took few just to try myself out - people loved them! After some time, I slowly started moving into 1/6 scale and sold most of my NECA/McFarlane stuff in favor of Hot Toys. I also started getting requests for painting 1/6 Predators and had a blast with them, mostly thanks to the removable parts (mostly netting, that part was a real b*tch to paint on NECA figs). Alright, that was an awfully long intro, and most of you probably didn't make it even to the first half. I present you all my Hot Toys Predator customs so far, enjoy!

That's all of them I finished so far, but there's a few more I'm working on. I also have a couple non-Predator customs, but I'll leave them for another post. Those are all commissions. I don't really repaint my own stuff anymore.

I'm working on another Predator commission - this time it's the MMS173 City Hunter. My first full repaint and minor custom of this guy. Not a fan of the figure itself, it has a lot of flaws that hurt my eyes especially bad, since I'm a big Predator 2 fan.
