HOLY S#!t that looks nice, but I think I like the darker one slightly better.

The bottom pic looks a lot like the Classics Starscream, maybe if they make the robot mode paint look more like the jet mode I'll like it more.

Holly shat?!?!?!?

IF thats the US Version I must have it!!!!

The only reason I didnt order the current one is I didnt like the paint apps!

Oh please oh please be a US version!!!!!!!!!

Hmm...I hate to break it to you guys but that pic says 2005. Not to be a pessimist, but I don't see it happening. :monkey2

NOOOOOOO!!! i got my hopes up because that IS Starscream.

A couple of images of what looks to be a U.S.-bound version of Masterpiece MP-03 Starscream have popped up over at ACToys. At first, members of the TFans community called is a really nice looking custom. However, it seems the constantly-reliable source "S250" has gone ahead and confirmed that this is indeed ready to hit the U.S. market, according to our "Heat Guy" of TFans. Is this really the first look that we are getting of the second Masterpiece figure to grace our shores? Only time will tell. Until then, feast your eyeson either a really great looking custom, or the real deal below:

I hope it is!!!!!

well then i'm holding off on getting the current Starscream until there is confirmation one way or the other with this.

ok you just lost me...why would it be a "hasbro" version of the MP Starscream when MP Starscream is "Takara" ???

Just like there are 2 "Hasbro" versions of the MP Optimus Prime.

Basically they are non-Japanese released by Hasbro here in the states with different paint apps.

Why not? Takara is just a toy maker that makes and distributes Transformers toys throughout Asia. Hasbro buys the sculpts where they alter the molded weapons to fit in with accordance to child safety laws (shorter guns for Starscream beware), with different paint apps. Not all the time, but take Hasbro's version of MP Prime for example. So if Hasbro can release Prime over here, why not Starscream?

Only MP05 Megatron won't get released through Hasbro because of that damn toy gun legislation! I understand why it was put in place, but dayum.

I guess its my fault I dont keep up with Kiddy versions that have shorter guns :lol:lol:lol

S250 has confirmed that it will be the Hasbro version of MP Starscream. :chew

That's as good as gold IMO. He's given out TF scoops for years and has never been wrong.

Rumor has to be a TRU exclusive for the fall/winter.

I think thats great news. If Hasbro does one it will surley be in his original cartoon colors.

I just hope that its not a TRU exc. I have to travel 2 hours to the nearest TRU.

Great news indeed.

I'm sure you'll be able to Pre-Order it from their website, I ordered my Masterpiece Prime from there.

Takara owns the rights to TFs in the Asian market. Hasbro owns the rights in the US and everywhere else except the Asian markets.

Takara had a line called Diaclone back in the late 70's early 80's. It was a "transforming robots" line. :p A Hasbro rep saw how cool the figures were and Hasbro bought the reights to release the figure overseas in the US. Hasbro didn't think the Diaclone story and name had much marketability so Hasbro came up with the idea of the Transformers. Hasbro then recolored some and "tweeked" some of the Diaclone figures and released them as....TRANSFORMERS! Takara liked the new Transformers concept so Hasbro and Takara then formed a partnership to work together on the Transformers line. Takara got the Asian markets and Hasbro got everything else. :lol Both companies have worked together to design the toys for years. Hasbro doesn't just buy Takara designed TFs.

This means that Hasbro has the right to release any Takara Transformer it wants to and vice versa. They don't have to but they can if they want to.

Did I loose anybody?:rotfl
