Or in this case, screen accurate colors.nash said:I guess its my fault I dont keep up with Kiddy versions that have shorter guns
nash said:So the Hasbro versions are the exact same quality as the Takara ones, just with shorter sticks?

Hasbro is cheap and tries to cheap out on the paint as much as possible, in many cases they willl only paint the visible side of certain parts of a toy and leave the blind side unpainted. Hasbro also follows the US child safety laws, so anything that can potenitally kill or choke a kid will be modified so that it doesn't, meaning some fine details are dulled.. Plastic quality is more or less the same on the main toy but if the character has any sharp points they will be softer PVC plastic on the Hasbro version , some cases on the Takara as well but usually will be ABS on the Takara.
In short All Hasbro cares about are the kids, Toys like Masterpiece and BTs are dumbed down for stupid safety laws so that they will be ok for kids to buy even tho they are toys designed for collectors. Takara IMO cares about the kids but also considers collectors a LOT more than Hasbro does. They actually make toys specifically for Collectors without considering the kids.
All in all Hasbro is significantly cheaper and more readily available if you're in the US. If Money is not an issue then go with Takara if Money is an issue go with Hasbro.

nash said:Thanks TK I can always count on you for the definite answers.
I'll stick with Takara, accurate paint apps or not. Better quality is my main objective in collectibles.

And with those two issues I didn't feel like paying $100+ for him. But if Hasbro can create one with a better color scheme I'll be all over it. I love the first release of Prime... sure the stacks could be taller but its not a $50 difference.
