Thanks guys , I've ran out of sculpey again so I'll just be refining and thinning out the nose until more arrives. I'm going to make this one a bust I think so I'll be sculpting clothing and I'm determined to finish it this time since I always end up restarting half way.

I'm not that happy with the hair , it definitely needs work, the strands are too individual and big , it all needs pushing together a little.

I'm having fun with this though !.

My biggest fear is sculpting ears :lol , luckily they can be covered with hair with this character but it's something I need to keep practicing.

Eyes and ears are so difficult for me.

Thanks guys , the whole thing is pretty difficult for me to be honest. :lol
I think I'll sculpt someone more recognizable to the mind with my next attempt or just something out of my head. It's probably best to learn to sculpt at all before trying for likeness. :rotfl

This place is a non stop source of inspiration though. :hi5:

Still awaiting smaller tools which I purchased from China by mistake so I'll probably be waiting forever but I keep messing around with this one. I'm pleased with it as my first sculpt approaching it's final stages and I just want to get in finished now to move on to something else.

Looks pretty I think.

Early WIP of a new sculpt. Big thanks to Caine's tutorial this time around. Photoshopped eyes and colour. Can anyone guess who it is ?.

I need a break tomorrow. :lecture

Thanks Bob !. That link should prove useful , good idea. It would be easier to shape around something like that, they're extremely cheap too !.

Still rough as a bears arse but I've managed to stick to around 1/6 scale now which is something I was struggling with. I'm not happy with the likeness but it's good practice.

Keeping it in 1/6 was a big problem when I started. Also, your eyes are really good. It took me sooooo long to get better at eyes, I'm still haven't really gotten it down but I'm trying.

I think your sculpting for the same reason why I started sculpting. The cool thing with customs is you can get characters that we never be made by a regualer company. With us, we wanted characters that would probably never be made by customizer.

Thanks and that's exactly it mate !. You and a few other artists here with your continual work and dedication is what inspired me to give it a shot. :hi5:

I don't think I should really be critiquing anyone's work but if I had anything to say, based on pictures and watching the wire and some of his movies. I think the eyes could have a bit more of an upper lid showing, most of the picture I've seen of him he has kind of a squint going on.

You can definitely give me advice mate.
I think you're spot on also , something to be worked on, thanks. :hi5:
