Not sure I'll bite on this, might wait for Cody...although it may take until SDCC.
Still, might be cool to have each style of prime trooper from the five films they were in:
AOTC basic clone
ROTS Utapau clone
ANH stormtrooper
ESB snowtrooper
ROTJ biker scout
As to the gun question, looks like he has the pistol in his hand here.
Maybe the rifle will be the exclusive.

There is no PPO listed, so no exclusive (unless site exclusive, but I doubt that).
Yes. Its Sideshow, not Medicom.
Yeah, the newsletter said it was an advanced sneak peek, and to keep your eyes on next week's newsletter for when you can order. So I'm guessing next week will be the announcement of the PPO for the following week.
Not sure why they did it this way...unless there's more to come...

Just verbage, I would say plan for a preorder next week with the newsletter. Two weeks ago it said look for a glance at the T-800 PF in upcoming NLs, the following week was the PO. Most of the time, if there's no PPO and you get a preview like this, the PO is with the following NL.
There weren't any white clones in RotS.

That hardly warrants a figure though, although, somehow I feel it needs to be done...

Are you sure they were all white? They may be the same kind as the grey-shoulder padded ones you see when they land.
Their belts and shoulder pads would be grey if they were from that legion...
Either that or I'm now colorblind...

While I've complained recently about the lack of cool 12 inch figures, I must take it back,they are finally getting it.
I LOVE this idea!! That would ROCK! Aside from this exclusive idea, what about another metal Battledroid chunk, like the one Kit Fisto came with? Except in white? Maybe an arm, body chunk or something?
AWESOME WORK SIDESHOW!!! :chew I'll get one. I will only troop build in the Hasbro scale for $$ and space issues though....

I'm actually understanding Sideshow's plan of attack here. Medicom's already given us the standard, 501st, and Shock Trooper variants. As this is Sideshow's first offering out of the gate, they're naturally going to want to move as many units as possible. So of course they'd be skeptical about the odds of selling them to people who already have the Medicom versions. Best, then, to release a variant that, until now, had yet to see the light of day.
And, once again, I have to say bravo to Sideshow with their business plan with this line. Sure, they exhausted us all with the neverending influx of non-armored characters on the tired old Buck body. But it's good to see that they've put the money from the sale of those figures to good R&D use in order to give us the armored figures we demanded. It's a safe business model that is now bearing armored fruit.
Next up? Now that the armored and Prometheus bodies are off the ground and running, it'd be nice to see them sink some funds into designing non-standard bodies, such as those used by 'droids, non-humans (Jar-jar?
) and droid generals.

Seems like a really cool figure but I'll pass since it doesn't fit my OT Imperials focus. Still waiting for the Sandtroopers (all of them), Scout, Snowtrooper and maybe AT-AT driver and TIE Pilot.
People can have fun speculating Exclusives for this guy, but I can't recall a Star Wars 1/6 that had an exclusive that wasn't a PPO. I have a feeling that with this being not everyone's priority trooper style, it'll just be like a domestic web exclusive or something like that.

. And I said pass. But I am still up in the air since this is from SSC. I already pre-ordered Vader & stormy. So this will be even more $$$ to shell out next year. I assume release date will be 3rd quarter? Similar threads
