I never could stand the original, so my excitement at it rising from the grave is pretty darn limited.

Still, if it's retooled as significantly and as well as BSG, who knows?

Strange there going with a different writer. I remember the original writer saying he was working a new story to try and reboot the series. Anyway the original was good, with todays effects the new one should be alright.

I loved this show, up until the TV Series sucked it up. Watch it now, total cheese, but still good for nostalgia factor. DVD's are available from netflix.
