that last shot is awesome....................good stuff glen. but i like the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shot as well..............:D

Glenn!

Thanks so much... totally didn't expect the tweaks but they are definitely appreciated.

Even beyond the accuracy, etc, I am so pleased to be getting this piece because it really is a work of art. I can't be disputed.

Okay, am I gushing too much. Sorry everybody but it really does look awesome. Basically asked Glenn to create the most accurate ANH Vader possible and he's come through with flying colors. Cannot wait to see him in person.

That last still really is awesome. For a split second I thought it was a still from he movie.

I'll try to put up pics of my own when he's in hand... I really hope to do him justice.

Absolutely gorgeous! I'm getting much better about spotting the details. I noticed all the tweaks without you having to point them out - and they look great.

I love the revised cape and satin helmet especially. ANH Vader looks so badass! My only critique would be in the second pic the elements of the costume look a little off balance, chest, codpiece, but much of that has to do to the canted angle at which the picture was taken. That last pic is amazing! Vader just looms over his daughter. "You are part of the Rebel Alliance and a traitor!"

congrats Rugby! :rock

Here is my ANH Hurricane Vader. He's got a bit of a Cocoboloboy twist to him though.:D When I got him the delivery boys were less than careful with the box so to my horror his head was detached from his body and in pieces when I opened the package.:monkey2

Glenn was kind enough to offer to fix him up for me, which I was going to take advantage of, but I decided that I didn't like the bulk of the body that houses the battery for the cathode saber. I decided I could live without it and modified my own Hot Toys body for extra height (based on where Leia's head comes to his chest in the movie), modified Vaders head as well as the HT neck and modified the arms to be able to work with Glenns hands.

All I need now are a couple bits from Glenn that got broke off his neck brace that I couldn't find, a red plastic saber and normal saber holding hand and he'll be as good as gold.

A couple things I wish Glenn would do is make a saber holding left hand and put a wire in the cape.

You want to make Vader ambidextrous? :D

Wire in the cape could be interesting. Yours looks amazing by the way, you did a great job disassembling and assembling him.

Vader fought with 2 hands pretty much all the time. The only time he used 1 hand was when he was toying with Luke in Empire. I think he wants a left hand grip for 2 handed poses.

Incredible figure by the way. I'm so jealous.

Oh yeah 2 handed poses...didn't think about that, now I want a saber holding left hand! :D

Also had no idea he fought with both hands, never really looked that close before.

Yeah, what Badism said. He only fights with both hands in ANH. You gotta have a saber grip lefty to do the classic Obi/Vader duel.

that does it! im getting one! SS dropped the ball. i was waiting to see what they did and totally not seeing it. COCO you crazy muther! i love it man. you got moves baby! im gonna have to request glenn to use the coco modifications lol

Man, I'm tellin' ya. I love Glenn's gear on this modified HT body.:rock It looks a bit more slender and very it's very posable. I may add another 1/4" or so of height but as it is now he's right in scale with Leia. I used the Alderaan destruction scene as reference.

I haven't heard anything out of Hurc since I posted the pics so I hope he isn't offended at what I did.:monkey3 The cathode body is engineered wonderfully, it just looked too bulky to me and some articulation was lost. Plus the dang posties tore him up to begin with.

well for the first time i have seen the illusive " A " shape to vader that i want mine to have. perfect slope from helmet to shoulders so BRAVO COCO BEE!

and yes..i believe some think vader was the hulk. i so prefer the hoy toys slimmer to the bigger bulk.

Sweet mod! Did you just extend the HT thighs or arms as well?

I used an old HT body that I didn't have feet or hands for and chopped off some SS feet and glued them on. I cut them a little long, about mid calf, to add some height to the HT.

Glenn has his bodies set up to use SS hand so I cut off the HT forearms and glued on some SS arms to match the arm length on Glenn's. This was very tricky because of HT's elbow joint.

I used the long HT neck connector and cut off the ball at the top and dremelled away a little of the neck's girth. I also hollowed out a bit of the head to allow it to sit lower on the HT neck. I then used a simple steel pin to connect the head to the neck.

I also padded the shoulders right at each side of the neck so it raised the armor but not the shoulder bells in order to give him that natural slope that a body builder would have.

The suit is slightly baggy on this body but it isn't noticable once he's all geared up.

My favorite part is the cape. Glenn picked the most perfect fabric for it and the weight is just right. The body suit is great too. Heck! It's all great! :rock

good work mate , all your new bits are under way...as for grippy left hand ill do my best thing is they will be casted, and tho not that fragile....the orginal hands used for the molds were sideshows maul, its gonna take a complex mold but it can be done:duh

im also doing new etched parts for the reveals, so everyones angelic patience will be rewarded....im having issues casting the saber hilts at the mo, thats why none except two have gone out, this two hopefully will be sorted asap
