Im not knowledgable enough on Vaders to really tailor anything unusual into it. He will be posed with helmet on, surrounded by my black imps (with a DST helmet from glenn)

or

(possibly old ben, farmer luke, smuggler han, leia, and droids) the icons from ANH

Dont know yet will have to see how he looks with each set of figures and move the others around him accordingly

Apart from the cathode sabre, which Im now thinking could do with being battery powered instead of what I originally asked for, wired and out of his boot. Infact yes if its wired out of his boot he would need to be relegated to the top shelves (which arent as visble) and be wired in with all the other sabres Im working on for my jedi and sith (they are all going to be mains powered and all switched on and off from one switch (eventually, after Ive finished the rest of the sabres ive got and I get the ones glenns doing for me)

So a basic Vader (if theres is such a thing from Glenn) as screen accurate as you can make him with a battery powered cathode sabre and done with your usual attention to detail. Which as I can see from your progress pics is being done anyway.

Next part of ECs vaders lower reveal helmet, has some artistic licence to allow both heads to fit,

Mooncats ROTS upper mask insides with sculpted 'padding' the etching done now so this bits looks somewaht diferent now...his ROTS upper armor, taken from a kotobukiya vader, dremeled and cut, airbrushed and several layers of laquer...and the first ANH/ESB hilt with the newer multipart casting..has some metal parts too.

Awesome Glenn. Overall I think the new body is working... the proportion between the shoulders and the head feels right.

The only question I have is about the arms/biceps. in the last photo he almost looks too buff... like the shoulder bell would be too tight. Small thing and I'm sure it's a matter of taste. It might also just be the lighting in the last photo.

Overall it's looking cool. Could you do shot with another figure in frame to get a sense of the new scale?

Cheers and keep up the awesome work!

That HT Vader looks amazing! I don't think he looks too buff at all.

Hope mine looks as slick once the helmet and the rest are finished. :chew

You been eating cheesy wotsits and drinking tango and rubbing your fingers over the camera lense glenn ?

A slight color correction needed me tinks

Hey Hurricane, how big are those neomydium magnets? I'd like to use that solution to make some interchangable heads as well? Any info would be appreciated!

15 mm x 2mm i ve used ones with a predrilled contersunk hole in the middle so i can screw them in place as glue wont hold this magnets there too pokey (strong)
updates later of various helmet internals....

Hurricane's ANH Vader arrived yesterday!! Here are a few pics in various lighting conditions... my hasty photos don't do him justice!!

Basically I asked for ANH Vader as accurate to his Tantive IV appearance as possible. This is a 'scruffy' Vader... hand painted with accurate nicks and scratches on his helmet. I also asked for as much leather as possible and the light up saber.

He's spectacular and Glenn's work looks even better in person.

Looks fantastic!!

My only gripe would be the way the stand pinches his costume at the hips.
