All I can say is...
DAMN! :horror

more metal bits, lower section now, the chin vent has an aluminium grill, along with brass etched parts inside plus brass etched fine grill, lots of wire too...a bit of artistic license has been used as far as the neck brace goes as you cant see any hint of one from screen shots,

i couldnt waste the hands from the kotobukiya statue as they were too good so theyve been hollowed and now serve as a set of hands

I see the ref pics I sent you helped out.

And I need to send someone your stuff, :naughty but, can't remember who it is that is I am supposed to forward it to you through....remind me in an email would ya?

Great work Glenn! Outstanding helmet interior! I've been waiting to see you do that.

hey Glenn: Is it me or does the right arm look kind of funky? I mean, it's a bit disproportionate and kind of skinny compared to other Vader's you've made. Maybe it's just the angle? Or is it still a work in progress?

I think the forearm sections about 5 - 10 mm too long, hopefully Glenn will be able to modify it, might be a pain though as its holding the sabre wiring, the rest is looking superb though m8, Im floored

ill check

My email was about another commision, an easy one for you, Ill post it here (although its not Vaderville related) if you post an update please read this :

I saw elvis1976’s recent custom Kroenen, and it occurred to me that after Id parted with my SSC Abe and Hellboy in anticipation of receiving my pre-ordered HT Abe and Hellboy.

That my SSC Kroenen could do with an overhaul

I’ve always liked the Nazi version and missed out on getting it. However apart from being rare, it is infact crap for its price.

I started to look at prices for a custom Nazi one as screen accurate as I could get it and the parts are reasonable and abundant (afterall its basic WW2 kitbash material)

I then realised that apart from the mask, possibly the headsculpt under it, I wasn’t using anything else on this custom from the SSC one sat on myshelf.

So I thought could I make those elements and save my SSC one ? So I started on reference material,

The more I saw the reference material, the more it reminded me of your work, tiny grills, apart from the ‘grieblies’ to the left and right, theres hardly any details to it.

I would have thought that this would be a popular commision,

readily available kitbash fodder (Parts roughly about £50), HT releasing Hellboy and Abe, the ‘genuine article’ being rare yet inferior

So £50 plus your helmet costs and youve a Nazi Kroenen better than the rare SSC one (with a custom Helm we could even get the helmet to sit in the hat correctly)

And the only thing thats needed is a relatively easy to do custom mask (possibly sword hands), I say easy . . . based on what ive seen you do with a Vader Mask I think it is . . for you

You might be able to knock a few of these out for people ? Would you be interested in me starting a thread on it, for demand ?

That said I recently read your not taking on anymore commissions ?

Anyway lmk if your not up for it, I may have a crack myself (would like to know about the gauze / grill material you use in vader)

If your not up for the mask as a commission would you be up for a mold and cast on the headsculpt underneath ?

Anyway Ill take this opportunity again to say thx for the pics of my Vader,

Hope you and the Mrs are well

Regards

Jase

So if your not taking on any more commisions for Vaders / the usual Hurricane fare, then maybe a small, itsy bitsy, teeny weeny Kroenen helm :)

Once done, molded and them popped out for a fee :)

Might be that it's a Hayden RotS Vader and his silhouette is different from the Prowse OT Vaders.

the arms are due to be shortened, as for the build i talked with mooncat and he wanted Haydens rather smaller the than Prowses build replicated ,the body is a sideshow Ani's made a scale 6 inches taller as Lucas made Hayden wear 6" build ups for the ROTS shots.....

Wow! You are serious about movie accuracy! That's great :clap

Amazing...He can even fold his arms! They're all so lifelike. It's as though they could be be little in there! Absolutely outstanding!!!
