This is so wonderful. I'm glad Galadriel has been included, as she was missing from the Lord of the Rings movie prints and I really must start to buy these. I keep meaning to but money seems to get diverted elsewhere. I think I may have already asked this Jerry, but I can't remember. Will Old Bilbo appear on either of the next two prints in the Hobbit series? I believe he is the only key character that has yet to appear in any of the the four movie artwork litho's.
(I'm a big fan of Ian Holm..incase you haven't guessed lol)

I hear ya. As far as Ian Holm ( old Bilbo appearing ) , it is going to depend on the approach the script has for the next two films. Most of the film makers want a "Bilbo-centric" approach, leaving little room for an older version of Bilbo when the main, younger one needs to appear in the main theme of the piece, aside from all the other thematic elements that need to go in.
I like Ian Holm as Bilbo, but I never could find a place for him, at least not yet

Unfortunately now that I've secured my purchase I'm in no real rush to get this since I'll be waiting for the other two in order to make sure I can get matching frames for the set.

I wanted to let folks know that there have been a few changes with the Collector's Sketch Edition canvas edition size: It's now going to be limited to a quantity of 10 pieces only. This will be the only time to get this particular piece of art with a matching numbered sketch and canvas, making them a unique pair.
Individual Hobbit-related sketches may become available at a later date, as weekly or monthly auction items ( like some of my painted sketch cards that occassionaly become available ).

I had the chance to see Jerry work on this during Comic-Con. It was pretty cool to see something come to life right in front of your eyes.

Can't wait to get that Balrog piece.

Gorgeous ! I mean just Gorgeous ! The sense of dynamic motion is there without it being there. I can see him just steadying his aim ! WOW !

The answer is yes, although Daddy Rog comes first. Also, I have to think about the design more, so it may be available after the film has already come out. Either way, it is coming.

As soon as they go on sale a canvas giclee Balrog and HDOS will be purchased

Right on Adolfo ; ) Rog will likely be my most challenging piece to date, what with all the swirling smoke, ash, embers, fire,battle debris, etc. etc. BUT it is worth the time. The Balrog is my favorite creature in all the films.
