Hm, yeah I think that was it. Makes me want to go visit, if only to see his life-sized sauropod sculpture. :google

Nice work by Brett..maybe a good pose for a standalone Velociraptor maquette ? ;)

Just got my Flex-pay schedule:yess:

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Item: Protoceratops VS Velociraptor Diorama – Sideshow Exclusive (item #2000771FLEX)

July 5, 2010 - $90.00
August 5, 2010 - $90.00
September 5, 2010 - $89.99 PLUS

I'm still a bit behind as far as Flex Pay goes...does the item usually come out before the final payment or after ? I think some members have said they were still paying their flex-pay after others had received their pieces.

I guess what I'm trying to figure if this piece will drop in August or September.. ;)

I would say September, i don't think they will ship it to you until you pay it down.

I pay for mine all at once upfront...just trying to see if the flex-play schedule will give a clue as to a release date.

The Flex schedule above covers the whole 3rd quarter and it's supposed to be released sometime in the 3rd quarter...September is the most likely date though.

It's not looking likely that'll I'll be able to get it either. :( I have a feeling this one is going to be around for awhile though.

Nice, Blade. You should slap that one up on FB.

I don't think availability will be a huge problem for this piece - even the Allo/Cam is still listed as in-stock. People are probably cutting back on purchases in general.

I suppose I could..lol

It's amazing how Isis manages to get pieces of art done that almost the same subject material for each statue.. ;D

I know people are cutting back quite a bit so that's prob it..I doubt it's over saturation yet. There is all the previous issues we've discussed about the piece again. I'm guessing even though it's accurate it's just not as dramatic as a diff posing of the two could have been..that's my main reasoning on lack of interest.

In case of ppl around me, the less dramatic pose (for a dio) and ridiculously high price tag (yes, I have been raving about it so much that most of you are obviously sick of hearing it again) are some of the reasons why ppl are giving up on this piece, but it also seems that ppl are particularly turned off by a 'feathered' Velociraptor... :lol

I know that dinosaur nuts like us are well aware of feathered dromaeosaurs, but regular folks somewhat prefers the JP movie monsters...
