yeah, another duplicate with soooo many other characters that could've been done. not that i'd buy any of them.

i guess i'm the only one not happy about this. If its any good, it completely kills the collectibility of the first one. So whats next SS, you gonna re-release the 1:1 Alien Warrior, 1:4 Pumpkinhead,1:1 P1 bust, etc, etc just so everyone can afford it? IF this piece ends up being just as good as the 1st or better, you might as well slap everyone in the face that payed over 1k for the 1st version. It just seems like such a un necessary re-release.

I HIGHLY doubt it will kill the collectibility of the first one. Sure, some people may discontinue their search and settle...but they'll be settling. And if they're anything like me (which let's face it...isn't a bad thing ,) they'll always want to get a hold of the first one. There's only 300 of them out there, most of which are probably nestled safely into a permanent home. There will still be plenty of people chomping at the bit for the first Venom bust.

Same reasoning will apply to the next Hulk PF. There are some pieces that are elite enough that nothing will change the collectibility of them. The Venom 1:1 is one of them.

idk, we'll see. What happens if this has an ES of 200? I agree with Bodie that it prolly wont be as good quality wise as the first, but i just dont see the point of doing it and I'm a huge Venom fan. If they are going to do this, then whats stopping them from re-releasing same characters in the same format on pieces that go for 1k+? Its the same thing if Hot Toys went and re released the AVP Preds, except the difference is HT is better than they were then, as SS is the opposite.

The Hulk has so many unique looks to him, so theres a high demand for him in all his different phases, but Venom, for the most part, is known for his black/white symbiote figure with a big tongue. Either way, i hope this looks horrible like Carnage, so im not tempted to add another Venom.
