I was thinking just because its Marvel and things seem to do well but I hadn't sat down and looked at all the ES of previous pieces. That range makes sense which is why I corrected myself to say 500.

Really having a hard time believing that this has truely sold out... The Carnage bust was also "SOLD OUT" all the way until it was released. To make a long story short...I don't believe for one second that this bust has really sold out without the "NRD."

Steve Wang the artist has been quoted in saying that he has been working on three pieces for SSC, the two prior being Carnage and Venom so it's only logical to think that the last would be a 1:1 Spider-Man bust.

Those WIP shots look cool. I understand several folks don't like it for one reason or another. Just as an outsider to this piece it just looks cool to me. I would fix the eyes a bit as some have mentioned but other than that it looks awesome.

Even the WIP look funny to me. There is nothing about this Venom bust that's appealing. The WIP pics look just as awful if you ask me.

That actually might not look bad, smaller more "squinty" eyes is very Ditko/Silver Age. I would be down for that.

I'll pick one up eventually, but not at that price. If I can get Hulk for $300, I can surely find this at a similar price down the road.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the 250-300 range but wouldn't understand why...just like how Sideshow handled the ES on Venom & Carnage comiquettes...fewer Carnage regs but more Carnage EXs...doesn't makes sense to me!

Hmm...now that it's SOLD OUT I'm starting to have a change of heart...this bust is fantastic in every way! I don't know why I couldn't see it before...

Now I can easily see it being the center-piece of my collection, perhaps even my existence!
