Finale spoilers:

I really thought they killed Lee 10 minutes into the final episode. It was so violent and sudden, and his head just exploded and he was leaking blood into the grass. And I was actually shocked. It takes a lot to shock or surprise me but they did it. I instantly felt depressed, cause I thought, "wow, what an insanely ballsy move to make. This is a dark comedy but my god this is DARK." So when he gets up and blinks his eyes and it turns out he was just grazed, I felt better, cause that would have been a terribly dark and depressing way to end the show. I was glad he wasn't dead. But at the same time, I felt like it was a copout. And then it all had a happy ending. I liked it. But the more I thought about it, I wish they had actually had the guts to end the show with that sickening shock, cause it would have been more realistic. As it is, the tiger trainer got eaten, but they made a point to show he was a "bad" person that deserved it, so nobody cared. I don't know. I'm a little conflicted. I don't think they should have show a character get his head blown off and delivered that kind of brutal, real world violence, and then just had him get up and be OK.

What did you guys think?

It was ****ing perfect. They closed it beautifully. That cameo at the last minute was FANTASTIC.

10/10 for the entire series.

I'm pretty sad that it's over. Not as sad as when The Leftovers ended but sad nonetheless.

What cameo?

I did a Marathon of both seasons the last few days and wew... That ending almost had me tearing up...
