Andy you nailed that sculpt. Boot you did a great job. Beleive it or not Vincent Price was actually at my grandfathers retirement party:horror

Sculpted by Andy Bergholtz painted in acrylics and pastels.

That is outstanding! The eye work is particularly good.

I have never used pastels. How difficult are they to use/learn?

I have noticed every time you post you give us the 3/4 view. I would really like to see some head on shots or multi angles.

I really don't. Once in awhile sculpts come along that I really want to paint. When this happens I usually work out a trade deal with the artist or the caster where I paint one for them and receive some copies in return.
I realize there is a demand for paint ups out there, and I know there are talented artists on this board that will be happy to help you out.
I have a job that requires me to be on 24x7 call every other week. That and having a family means I have precious little free time.
So I really don't want to make a job out of painting sculpts for others. I enjoy painting a few here and there, and I figure if I start taking on commissions it would be the quickest way to turn something I find relaxing into something stressfull and less than fun.

Wise decision... keep it something for yourself so you can continue to enjoy it :duff

Absolutely outstanding work, you have brought Vincent Price into the realm of the living once again. This is the actor I remember watching in awe in everything I've seen him in. Superb!!

Amoktime and Executive Replicas both have license to do Vincent Price, so maybe an older version will be forthcoming. Maybe ER will do a Vincent Price with three different heads at various ages like their forthcoming Boris Karloff?
