That's an awesome figure Joe!

Awesome Joe, I love me some Orko.

Yeah, couple of Dicks and no pics. :lol

thanks guys. Orko is one of my favorite characters and he was really tough to get with a clear bubble. he's one of the few figures who is notorious for always having a yellow bubble.

Not MIB, but mint loose and for $10 shipped.

I have a lot of stuff that didn't happen lately. Even a few surprises. :naughty

I'm intrigued...

That radar piece is pretty cool, as a kid I was always jealous of my brother's Hoth Turret and Probe Droid set. Jerk would never let me play with it :cuss

Some newer figs:

Jeez DPrime... get with the program!

**I didn't know either** :monkey3

What Deak said.....

lol, too many acronyms in this world... :lol

I will as soon as I get them. The figures were Bib, Emperor, Nien Numb, Ree Yees and Admiral Akbar. All dime a dozen kinda figures but the price was good at 25 shipped.

I need to post a pic of Romba and Anakin too.

Nice, those are great figures. I still need Nien and Ree Yees myself...

That's one set I aim to have. I kind of think of the Probe Droid as a figure more so than a vehicle or anything....

Well, my jerk older brother bought all my Star Wars stuff from me in the mid-80s for $200 when I was buying stupid comics. Luckily he gave them all back to me last year. :lol

I actually got the Probe Droid loose in a lot of figures last year, wasn't even supposed to be part of the lot just one of a few random (and cool) things that were tossed in.

I don't think I'll be buying the DS playset anytime soon, but I would like a trash compactor monster.

Nice, mine sold all his off... so he's still a jerk in my book :lecture

1. I'm pretty sure I've seen them available separately on eBay. And there's always RS.

2. They can't all be cool like us.

Yeah, I don't think they're too hard to find loose and not too pricey if I remember correctly.

Need to get a Falcon, I think that will be my next priority.

That's one of the items I bought recently from eBay, but I think the stickers are repro. The MF is super clean and all the stickers are perfect. They also have no gloss like other Kenner stickers. Plus, I noticed the guy has sold numerous MFs on eBay and they all look super clean like mine. :panic:

I've been meaning to take some pictures and post them on RS for confirmation. The ship displays well, but I can't have repro in my collection. :gah:

Is the staff repor Flosi?

I'm not 100% sure right now. I need to do the water test to see if it sinks or floats... the good thing is Romba and Wickets spears are pretty much identical, so if I need to replace it I won't need to spend a ton.

The eBay auction said "weapon is original as far as I can tell. Sold as is."

I bid on Romba and Anakin, both figures are in or around c9 condition so I'm happy for the most part, after I was drinking one night, so "as far as I can tell" read more like "this is 100% original." :lol

"as far as I can tell" almost always means... "yeah, its a repro, but I don't want to lie about it and have to refund your money when you realize its fake" :lol

Totally, and that's why I'm also to blame if it is.

When I first got going with building this collection a couple months back I bought one of those repro sets off ebay. I honestly thought I wouldn't care if the items were repro or original at that point. Well, now I do care and even though I don't want the repro items in my collection it ended up being a good way to help me identify what is and isn't real. The repros are stiff, almost brittle, and are not molded in colored plastic but painted to match the real deal. To be honest, some are pretty nice but in the end I'll just give them all to my son for extras in a few years.

I was poking around ebay yesterday and saw one MIB for 350.

Not bad. I think I will go after one when I get done.

Speaking of which I have these few on the way to knock of the list. all original:

Han Trenchcoat
Chief Chirpa
Biker Scout
AT-ST Driver

Rebelscum has a pretty good tutorial on spotting obvious fakes... and then the website Imperial Gunnery is just a wealth of information.

Yup, both are great for this sort of thing. I always figured that once I had my collection complete I'd go back and double check everything for 100% accuracy, especially items like the rebel and imperial blasters with all the various shades of blue, blue/black and black to make sure they're paired with the proper figures.
