No problem. The only vintage vehicle I currently have is the Tie Interceptor... actually just got a replacement pod for it a few months ago off of RS as the batteries leaked on the original.

Still eventually plan to get a Falcon, X-wing and maybe a white Tie.

Yeah, I'm thinking along the same lines. Vader's Tie (though I could go for the white regular Tie as well), the Falcon and non BD X-Wing. The essentials.

Yeah, but in the 70's or early 80's that extra bit would literally blow a customers mind! :lecture

"Oh my God! A burst, must buy!!!" :lol

:lol "From the original film Star Wars".... As if the big ass Star Wars logo next to it wasn't enough.

I do find myself strangely attracted to the vehicles and playsets that came with bonus "free" figures. Like the Landspeeder that came with an R2 and 3PO.... they look to be pretty expensive though.

ah, good to see GB got you sorted on those instructions............j is the man.......:lecture

plus i was going to have to hunt them down buried in a closet........:panic:

That would have been a waste of time since I only wanted to see it for curiosities sake. Thank you though my friend! :duff

What's to drink tonight? I have some Guinness in the fridge just waiting for me. :yess:

Does anyone else have some bummer stories about our toys as a kid?
I had two of those Darth Vader face cases packed 2 by 2 with Star Wars figures. My Dad sold them all(along with my Centurions) for 10 bucks.

Kind of an odd one, but here's an old shot of my Kenner "Micro Collection" Star Wars figures. These were small die-cast sets released in the 80's. Never made any for ROTJ though, just ANH and ESB. I also have the Falcon, but no pictures of it.

Dude! I had all these. The Bespin Darth Vader/Luke saber battle was the best.

i lost one of my one of my 10 little stormtroopers as a kid.............pretty traumatic as the squad just wasn't the same after that.........:monkey2

My dad came storming down the hall one day and got his foot tangled in my LJN WWF Ring. The ring cracked and was ruined... My dad never said sorry and never replaced it. Not a big deal but it always reminds me to respect my child's toys and other possessions. :lecture

I still have quite a few of the figures displayed on the workstation in my garage. They're mostly hoth figures and they're pretty chipped up.... I always wanted more from that line.

:lol:lol:lol A squad must be ten! :lecture

I just can't do booze anymore... :dunno Getting old I guess.

It would be fun to hunt around for figures in person! For sure. So you're definitely going Richard?

Hell yeah! I bought my 4-day pass the day they went on sale. CV was one of the best things I've ever been to. SW + Freaks = Win!

I'm really not ready to jump into vehicles, even though I did pick up that Vader's Tie the other day, but it is fun to look and reminisce. :clap

All those figures need something to sit in! :rock

You can do better than that! :lecture

I'm going old school tonight and drinking Schlitz. The beer that made Milwaukee famous. :duff

Looks nice and cold and tasty.... :duff

I have about 6 Guinness left from a 12er, 2 Widmer Hefs and one last Newcastle summer ale, which sucks, left in the fridge.... More than enough for me now a days.

Yeah, they are pretty cool sets. I don't have them currently displayed, but I do have the Falcon at work. These actually got me into collecting vintage SW. This was kind of a cheap way to break the ice and once I got most of these I started working on the 3 3/4" ones.

You can do better than that! :lecture

Actually you are right... I definitely also need an AT AT, easily my favorite vintage SW vehicle and one I always wanted, but never got as a kid :monkey2

I'm still looking for one of these. They seem to be a little harder to find with all stickers present, chin guns and working lights and sound. I bid on a couple auctions a couple months ago for one that was opened, but MIB with unapplied stickers, but the reserve was higher than my winning bid. :monkey2

Reserve's suck :lecture

What did you get up to? Just curious what one in that condition would go for. I'm okay with some wear to stickers, but really want ones with working electronics which seems hard find.

It may have been $150 or $175, but I could be wrong.

That's not too bad... especially considering how cool they are. I missed out on a pretty nice one on RS for $45; and the guy was local so I could have picked it up and saved on shipping :cuss

remote sandcrawler & troop transport or just get your silly ass on outta here..............:lecture
