Nice pasta holder!!!!! :hi5::hi5: And the TIE is pretty cool too. :rotfl

:lol Thanks guys! It's not a bad overall piece for 19 bucks but it was filthy! I spent the better part of an hour just cleaning it.... Also, there's no laser sound and the hatches don't lay down cleanly, if that makes sense. :(

Nice haul, Flosi!

That was my favorite vehicle out of the whole SW line. It definitely has a presence.

Agreed. There's just something about this one... If I end up getting SW vehicles, it'll probably be an X-wing and this.

What happened was a member on RS was selling a parted out Interceptor. So I just bought the main pod and replaced my non-working one.

No electronic work involved in mine, sorry. But getting it apart wasn't bad so I imagine getting access to the electronics would be the same process.

:lol I know it's Vader's Tie Fighter but I just happened to get a Tie Fighter Pilot in the mail the same day... Just a coincidence is all.

i have a landspeeder for my ewoks to ride around in..................:monkey3

morning flosi...............:wave

Does anyone remember the Fisher-Price Great Adventure play sets? There were a couple of Castles and an Electronic third one, with lots of Knights, giants and Vehicles. There was a Robin Hood Surewood Forest, and then there were a bunch of Pirates sets with Ships, caves, Sea monsters, and islands, a western town with an Indian village and fort. The lines ran for years before they cancelled them all and went to the new IMAGINEXT; there was also a Pyramid with adventurers and mummies.
I'm asking because I collected that stuff for years (thought it was cute) and there was one piece that I haven't been able to find. I thought I'd mention it on here because really, what can it hurt. I'm looking for a black Fisher-Price Knight with a silver ball and chain in one hand, brown mustache, big nose and the main thing,; is that he has a yellow shield with a red dragon head on it in his other hand, where everyone else(Black Knights) are the opposite, red shields with yellow dragon heads.
The knight I’m looking for came with a little Red Dragon (DRAGON SET) back in the mid to late 80's. I have the Dragon, so if I could just get the right Knight It'd be great. Here is what a carded set looked like. I would also be interested in a carded or complete set if someone has one.

PM me if you can help or know something, thanks.

I remember seeing these when they were still in stores, but don't know squat about them. I assume you've checked eBay for them?

BTW, not the same but I really like the Adventure People series... especially the space oriented ones.

So finally got home from Afghanistan this week! Big pile o' stuff waiting for me, but bad news! I don't have my vintage BUGG (along with a few other GI Joe items)!!! Trying to contact the seller, but to no avail so far...

Vintage SW stuff should be coming too - the sellers are waiting to send, but now Canada Post is on strike! Crap...

Just bought Sludge, Swoop and Grimlock off a fellow member... pretty stoked to get some Dinobots in the collection :rock

Nice - the Dinobots are definitely some of my favourites.

I've gotten a few vintage TFs here and there, but I'm not sure I want to really open that can of worms... Seems like a slippery slope. I prefer reissues - might have to pick up the high quality knock-offs of the Dinobots. Not sure if I'll ever find vintage ones that are good enough for me...

I don't know - what do you guys think?

Vintage SW seems about the easiest to find in good condition, for me anyways.
Vintage GI Joe is difficult, but at least you can switch around parts of the figures if you need to. Vehicles seem particularly difficult to find in mint condition.
Vintage TFs - almost seems like so much can go wrong with them that they're hard to find in minty condition. Too many moving parts, stickers, etc. Plus they're so darned popular - seems like more people are into these than either vintage SW or Joes, so it's harder to find stuff in good condition unless you're willing to pay the big bucks...
